Waikiki Beach, Oahu - Rated by the Travel Channel as the 'Best Youth Hostel in Waikiki', the Polynesian Beach Club is one of the premiere hostels in Hawaii and caters exclusively to travelers and students. Please note that all guests checking in must show proof of ongoing travel.

It is located in the heart of Waikiki only steps away from the world famous Waikiki Beach and is near to banks, 24 hour shops, restaurants, nightlife, zoo, aquarium and Diamond Head Crater.

Pretty bad experience in general. The staff aren’t as welcoming as the other hostels. The social environment isn’t the greatest. No 24/7 reception (it would be helpful for people that come back late from going out if they face any issues). If you’re a solo traveler in your 20s, I’d stay away from this one.

It is absolutely amazing I 1st came by this place 21 years ago and loved it everyone is so helpful, cheerful and approachable. 21 years later it’s still the same. When we were here all them years ago the owner was dating an Englishman now she is married to him with kids.
