The Purple Nest was a great stay- good location close to restaurants and shops, helpful and friendly staff, heaps of ways to meet others and explore the city, and good beds with plenty of space for your gear.
The staff was not very helpful, one of my friends was looking to book another night in Valencia and they were rude and would not help her much. Other then that it was a good hostel. Clean, good WiFi, had a bar in the common area.
I had a great time at Purple Nest. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hostel is just a few minutes from a lot of great sight-seeing spots. They have a good common room area and bar that's nice for meeting people. Overall good stay.
Wifi worked well. The bar was a little lacking in action but the pubcrawls were good. Very clean.
I was quite disappointed about the hostel. It was almost empty, there were hardly any guests. In the first room I was sent to it was very noisy and dirty. There was construction work going on in the back yard and the floor of the room was full of dirt. So I went back to the reception and the girl there sent me to another room. The other room faced the street (four-lane-street), it was also pretty noisy. Most of the staff I met was not very friendly and they didn´t seem to like their job.
The showers are terrible... Bad shower heads that only supply a trickle of water. The location is pretty good, close to old town, park, a metro stop and even the main shopping strip. I was there towards end of season so the common room was pretty dead, bit boring. Beds are comfy. During my stay first floor had bed bugs but they were on to it the very next day so that's pretty commendable. Good stay for money

A nice hostel with a big kitchen and lots of fridge space. The bar was great and had good drink specials during happy hour - the staff even bought out a ping pong table for us to play beer pong on! The rooms were clean and air-conditioned, although when we were there the aircon was not working in a lot of the rooms. The main downfall of this hostel were the showers - no hooks to hang towel/clothes, no bench or shower caddy in the cubicles either.

This hostal keeps investing and growing in the right way. I've been here a few times before and I always leave with a satisfying smile on my face. Well organised hostal + nice city = happy travelers :)
Definitely a high class! Great staff, good conditions even for longer stay (kitchen, washing machine), and located in the old town next to the park. Drawbacks: the air conditioning did not seem to work (31 grades day / 25 night and we were on top floor). Main road behind the window (can be an issue at night). The lift reaches only to 5th floor (top one is sixth). Nonetheless, it is still a great place to stay!
Good location, fully equipped kitchen, computers with wifi. This hostel is not the best we've stayed in, but not the worst. It is a good place to rest your head at night but you won't find yourself wanting to hang around in the day.
Hostel was o.k. but it is very strict. There are a lot of prohibition signs, you cant smoke anywhere (it is understandable that you cant smoke in the rooms or the balcony but i dont understand why smoking is not allowed on the terrace) or bring alcohol inside. Not really a party hostel. And we had to change rooms for no reason.
My room was dirty. Can't drink your own alcohol. I would have chosen another hostel.
Pretty nice overall. Rooms weren't cleaned super thoroughly when people left which resulted in ants all over the floor but they dealt with it once they were told. Had some horrible roommates but they were also kicked out once the staff were informed of what they were doing.
Clean, well located hostel. Great that it's only €2 for laundry. Kitchen was excellent, although no oven which was a bit of a bummer. Thought it strange that a whole group of young school children stayed here for a few nights...
The third time staying with Nest, ad good as usually! The only thing that I can get picky with is the kitchen opens too late for an early bird as me....seems to be 8 or 9 am?
Great facilities, modern and comfortable. Squeakiest bed in Europe! Room was a little cramped
Nice hostel the rooms are small with no room to out your baggage so some of our bags were crammed behind doors and due to the small space the rooms get very hot at night. The hostel kitchen is nice and big. People are friendly and a short walk into the city centre
The kitchen was very well equipped..the wifi didn't work half the time. Staff were always friendly and helpful
