Bad staff who is working at night, so noisy environment, far from center of the city, stupid laundry system. That's why I evaluated like that.

The staff was great! They were extremely accomodating and very helpful. The hostel was perfect for late night arrival and they also respond to emails with questions very quickly.

Raizzy's Guesthouse was a fantastic place to stay in KL. The staff is incredibly friendly; they really take care of you. The family atmosphere in the lobby is relaxing, and the free toast for breakfast each day is a nice plus. The rooms are small, but they are air-conditioned, so it's exactly what you need for KL. The bathrooms could be a little crowded at times, but it was never an issue. The rooms were clean with clean sheets, and that's the most important thing to me. We had a good stay here.

The staff was extremely kind and helpful! My friend and i arrived at a terribly inconvenient time (5am), but the hostel was extremely understanding, cooperative, and thoughtful--they didn't complain about the awkward arrival or try to charge us unfairly. Room was spacious, and kept cool, but the mattress was pretty hard. FABULOUS kitchen facilities, and basic breakfast provided--coffee/tea, banana bread, toast/jam. Wish we could have stayed longer! The hostel was spotless!

It's hard to write a bad review on this place because I had alot of fun with the people working there. This cosmopolite staff is the most friendly I have seen in Malaysia. Despite this, the place is average, mainly because of the guests. Weird atmosphere with couple sleeping in a single bed in a dorm (?!). It looks also like some guests sleep in another bed than the one given to them (I found some pubic hairs in the sheets just after I checked in. The staff changed the sheets immediately).

Great hostel, exceptionally clean and friendly. You can walk to the central market, chinatown, and it's very close to transport hubs. Clean restrooms and clean rooms, what else do you need? A couple of cheap clubs that are open late share the street too, so lots of things to do!

The location couldn't be better in the heart of Chinatown. The hostel is very clean and well kept and the staff very helpful for information, bookings or tickets. And above all, the price is the best: cheap and very good quality. It has been a very nice surprise. Definitely, we'll come back.

Stayed here twice - handy central location & friendly staff who remembered me. Right next to the wonderful Indian Sri Mahamariamman Temple (27/1/13 - was handy for Thaipusam Festival that leaves from there). Clean, efficient place. Good security. Comfy beds. Great food just outside the door. Will stay again!
