About
Welcome to Step Inn, the hostel that feels less like a hotel and more like crashing at your best friend’s house—if your best friend lived in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, had a kitchen stocked for midnight noodle experiments, and threw PlayStation tournaments in the living room.

Run by fellow backpackers, Step Inn is all about the sleepover chaos: board games that ruin friendships in the best way, cozy beds to recover from your defeats, and the cheapest beer in town to keep the laughter flowing.

We’re strategically located near Chinatown, KL’s historic spots, food street, and public transport—so you can explore the city by day and come home to chaos by night. And if you ever feel like swapping sleepover vibes for full‑on party mode, our sister hostel DormsKL is just around the corner, ready to fuel you with beers and beats.

At Step Inn, strangers become teammates, rivals, and eventually besties by breakfast. This isn’t just a hostel—it’s KL’s ultimate backpacker sleepover.

Nice hostel also for people who don't want to party. We had a private room with fan, and the heath was bearable, also thanks to the window that could be opened. Quiet despite I think it was almost full. Nice terrace where to stay and relax or socialize. Good bathrooms. I would have liked a nightstand in the room and maybe a mirror, but it was still ok.
