Was looking for a place to meet people and to party, so it was the perfect place: party on the roof and common facilities.
Not as social as expected when compared to other hostels in similar price ranges. Rooftop bar was cool but slightly empty.
The location is just perfect: few minutes to the light train, Chinatown, Little India. The beds are big and separated, so you have a lot of privacy. Stuff well trained and helpful. The only one thing I didn't like were the showers. It is a WC-shower combo:( After taking shower the whole WC is wet.
The name is missleading...should be 'standard party music backpacker party hostel'.
One of the best hostels I´ve ever been to, and there have been many! Just keep on doing like this, you´re perfect.
Great showers. Breakfast is only toast and tea or coffee though.
The showers were not good enough

Wooden bunk bed is quite old yet stable .mattress are thin and quilt cover was uncomfortable
Pros: Rooftop bar, big comfy beds, clean. Cons: Cameras in dorm rooms they don't tell you about (girls left after finding out, after they had changed completely in room). Desk staff are rude. Security are rude, physical (I was assaulted), and generally unprofessional. Bar staff don't pour drinks correctly (big bucket had 4 shots not the 10 advertised). Staff refused to let me talk to manager or owner about my issues. Was banned for simply having another guest in the room, normal hostel stuff?!
My stay in Reggae Mansion Hostel was really amazing! I dont think there is any Hostel which has that awesome atmosphere and a really cool rooftopbar. My only criticism would be that the Internet is not that great in the Hostel, especially in the dorms/rooms But all in all it was amazing and you get to know people really easily!
Stayed here a couple of times and the rooftop bar is the best place to spend your evenings when in KL. All my best nights were there. Rooms are really good too. Top bunk ladders are a bit hard to get up and down. Showers are good. Unfortunate this time round this wifi wasn't too great but last time I was here it was good. I would have to go up the rooftop bar to use there's so it wasn't too bad. If you are going KL definitely stay here. You won't regret it
Loved the beds as they are pods with curtains, for privacy and they are comfortable. The best part of the hostel is the roof top bar. It has a really good view of the KL Tower and the Twin Towers. It does get busy and is usually open till 4am with good music also spirits are cheaper than beer! Staff are a bit unhelpful and some dorms can be loud, due to the bar, but you can request quieter rooms.
Nice rooms, spacious even with lots of people in. Huge lockers in rooms for rucksacks and mirror and power point in every bed. Breakfast is basic but good, the bar on the roof is nice and get busy every night. Close to the China town market and train stations. Would stay here again.
A great hostel in Kuala Lumpur, easy to get to and 5 mins walk from the LRT. Simple breakfast, big comfy beds and the roof bar is awesome overlooking the patronas towers in the distance. A word of warning, it is a party hostel, so if you're a light sleeper, it might not be the one for you...
This place was very security with key codes and individual keys. Also, the beds were incredibly private stacked upon one another and providing curtains. It was as private as a 4-person room could be. Also, the facilities were great, and the rooftop bar was phenomenal.. Great party atmosphere and great for meeting people. This is definitely a party hostel though. I found it to be a little expensive and the staff were very abrupt and a little rude. Location was good on the metro line.
The top bunks are actually very dangerous and to get up and down from. I couldnt sleep because of the disco noise and vibrations. It has to be the worst hostel experience I have ever had.

Amazing hostel is KL. Capsule beds for extra privacy, rooftop bar which is great to meet people. Washrooms are clean, staff help you get around. Would stay here again in a heart beat
Rooftop bar is the highlight of this hostel. Large dorm room was clean and had a good atmosphere however staff were not the friendliest and the location was not the best as on a street with a large population of rats
I thought the hostel was staff was just okay. The tour guide was funny, knowledgeable and engaging. One the ladies at the first desk was very helpful. The rest of the staff just seemed blase. A hostel policy was enforced for my friend but that same policy was not enforced for other guest.
