Great sociable hostel in a central location

Found a sock that wasn't ours. Staff at front desk not very approachable or helpful. I know it is a budget hostel but we paid less for better service during our stay in Malaysia. The roof top was pretty impressive and we had a locked safe in the room. WiFi doesn't work well in the rooms. One of the bathrooms was just coming off the laundry room so didn't get a great sense of privacy.

Really nice that there are social areas where people hang out, but the bedrooms are nice and quiet!

Get the access to the land of room is by password, don't know if they change it frequently or not. If not, it's not that secure. A great plus is providing the dinner for free, that's value of money! Washrooms are very tiny. The major problem is the wifi signal is really really bad, especially in the room/bed! When I asked for the tour information the staff only point their package for me without any introduction.

Room noisey due to loud music from bar above. Facilities very good, location is average. Staff not the friendliest

Dear Guests, Please be reminded that we are a party hostel. Music are up til late as other guests are partying. if you don't like to party you are free to find another boring hostel where you can sleep the whole night and be grumpy.

Nice location, helpful staff, great that dinner (fried noodles, pasta or rice and a glass of juice) is included, nice rooftop bar though way too aggressive in how you are forced to buy a drink even before going up to check it out (Come on guys, relax. Guys will still buy the drinks anyway - based on experience from other hostels with rooftop bars). Nice pod style beds with curtains, own socket, lights and extra storage, only downside is that there is no window. Still highly recommended!

Very clean and comfortable Hostel. Nice rooftop bar with party every night. If you want to party a lot, this is your place. Great to meet new people. A bit expensive though.

I've stayed here a few times over the last couple years and it's always a joy. Clean, friendly staff, spacious and private beds in the dorms, not too loud even though they host bar parties on the roof, good air conditioning, wifi, laundry and amenities. They used to give free breakfast but now five free dinner. I preferred the AM tea/coffee but it's still a free meal.

Amazing hostel with a great atmosphere! Rooftop parties were always good!!!

The nicest hostel I've been too. They beds are basically mini-rooms and you have lots of privacy. The bar on the roof was very lively when I went up (on a Saturday night)

Our stay at Reggae Mansion was not very pleasant. First all of all the staff were very robotic and cold to our questions. Our beds had bed bugs in and were eaten alive and scratching all night only to wake up with tiny little marks over our legs and torso. The room had no window as well. The atmosphere of the place was not very nice the music was terrible in the bar and lobby areas and the free dinner was... well free.

Loved this hostel! Great location, great staff and great view from the rooftop bar! The beds are quite private which is also good and very clean. Would definitely recommend 😊

Great party hostel even when there are not all rooms sold out. Had an amazing time over there and a lot of nice backpackers. The staff was more than great and helped out in every case. Thank you guys

Lots of fun.. had a great time meetin nd making lots of new friends.. everyone was in the same frame of mind with wanting to meet and talk about their adventures.. lots of fun partying on the rooftop, great big beds, loved the people in my dorm, close to public transport and chinatown... had great stay with you!

Seems like they have all this cool stuff you can use and great facilities, but they don't actually let you choose it. They wouldn't play a movie for me. TV didn't work on the private room I booked, and dinner was crap. Just overpriced place, don't pay for this.

Hair dryer needed

I stayed at this hostel twice on my trip and both times were amazing. Great vibe in this hostel. If your wanting to meet people I highly suggest booking the 24 person dorm.

The price is right and close to lots of attractions and train stations.

Unfortunately, out of the 20 hotels and hostels we stayed at on this vacation, this was the worst one. To make it short: 1. Overprotective security measures make the stay uncomfortable. (The hostel around the corner is in the same neighborhood, just as safe and does not have a million doors to unlock until you get to your room). 2. The Internet is poor and in the rooms non existent. 3. The private rooms should be called a closet and not a room. 4. It's overpriced for what it is...

Dear Guest, Please do not be too exaggerated in giving your review. Few points 1. Door codes are given for security purposes so please cooperate this is for your safety. 2. Prices are published online so if you find our prices beyond your budget you have the choice not to book.

Awesome bunks in the 8 room dorms with plenty of space and privacy. The rooftop bar is great with great Shisha, and the stairs up will keep you fit!
