Place is too fresh. Nice restaurant, awesome bar with cheap drinks, and plenty of spaces to hang out. Staff were eager to help out with questions. Breakfast was kind of a random mix. Wifi was almost always functional. The movie theater actually had pretty decent sound as well. It was fully booked up, and for good reason.

Those buckets on the roof top, man...got me every time. Luckily the beds were comfy, and I liked the curtained-off idea--dark and quiet. Straighten out that pool table, and everything'll be perfect. Wish I'd caught a BBQ!

There are bed bugs in this hotel, and bited me , seems there are quite a lot of bed bugs in the bed which can't resolve by changing sheets, while seems the staff dont care about the bed bugs.

One of the nicest hostels I've ever stayed in. The staff were excellent -knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The place was spotless, and the beds super comfortable. The dorm cubicles were very spacious, private and personal electric outlets extremely convenient. Although it is a "party place", the size and layout of the hostel keep noise level to a minimum, really no noise at all. Big secure personal lockers another plus. The lack of kitchen facilities stops me from giving this hostel a 10.

Fantastic location near an LRT stop and a 5min walk to Petaling St in the heart of Chinatown. The bunks are fantastic and clean, with own light and plug and a curtain for privacy. Great rooftop bar for views of Petronas and Menara, with good prices. Staff are excellent, and stored my luggage and I could shower. All toilets have showers in them. No kitchen, but they have a reasonably pirced restaurent, breakfast is included and cheap tasty local food can be got in Chinatown. Top bunks a bit steep

Absolutely great hostel! Had atmosphere, was clean, staff was very friendly no complaints whatsoever. Better than the ones in Europe, in a room of 24 people for $15AUD what more can one ask.

Fabulous hostel, almost a hotel! The cabins in the dorms are awesome, meaning I could have my light on to read without disturbing people. The roof top bar is great and the staff were really fun too. Great value for money, couldn't recommend it more!

Booked a 4 bed dorm, got a 6 bed. No hot water in the showers when I tried. Thumping bass from the rooftop bar keep me awake for about 3 minutes, but those of you who might get upset by this should probably request lowest level rooms. Good breakfast. Great location.

Stayed from January 10-13, 2014. The location is ideal for those who want to explore the colonial heritage of the city and petaling street (chinatown) within (tolerable) walking distance. It is also located very near Masjid Jamek and the confluence of the Gombak and Klang rivers that gave Kuala Lumpur its name. For further explorations, the hostel is very near the rapidKL Masjid Jamek station with easy connections to KLCC, KL Sentral, Monorail and KTM. Excellent service

Great place to stay and meet people. Probably the most comfy and private dorm you will ever stay in.

Nice hostel, clean and well looked after. Good atmosphere on the rooftop bar. There is also a cinema. Best place to stay in KL

Is everything a backpacker needs: clean, comfortable and secure. They should make it more clear what kind of room you book. Some are directly under bar and dancefloor which could mean that you won't be able to sleep until 2 or 3 o'clock. While you can find that information online if you look very closely, the information is not available in the booking process that is integrated into their website. Breakfast is only the bare minimum.

Very nice roof top bar where you can socialize and enjoy the evening, did not look like it was inside a hostel but nicer! Best hostel breakfast I ever had and I've been staying in a hostel in asia, europé and Australia. I stayed in the biggest dorm and it was so Clean and had privacy. I really recomend this Place!

Notes: Real saving grace is the roof top bar, met some amazing ppl mostly from the UK and around the world (its pumping most nights). I met people that I will be friends with for a long time. The dorms are OK, and maybe good at best . The rooms are a little aged in my opinion, but still it is a great place to stay. Philo chick on reception is cute!

It's more like a 5 star hostel.really expensive drinks at the bar roof. not appropriate for the commun backpacker's budget. apart from that... GREAT FUN !!!
