I love the rooftop! it has an excellent view of KL tower and Petronas Tower. The dorms doesn't feel crowded. The bed is really spacious, comfortable and is really private. I like that in some aspects it is has a party vibe and a homey feel.

Amaizing place to make new friends easily, very friendly and patient staff :)

good location. nice beds, clean facilties and a nice rooftop bar. avoid top bunk in dorm rooms. very steep climb and can be dangerous when trying to get down. staff could be more friendly, seemed as if they didn't care too much.

It's a beautiful hostel, the rooftop bar is also very nice and the view is good but would've been better without the haze. Very clean, plenty of showers and bathrooms. The pods with curtains are great for privacy. The free dinner is good, just 2 options but the portions are huge. The meals and drinks in the cafe are very expensive however considering it's for backpackers. Wifi was also a bit hit and miss but would definitely stay again.

Literally a 5 minute walk from the station which made it easy to get to and to travel to anywhere else. The staff in reception were always helpful and the rooms were clean! The cubby hole like beds were perfect! Each with a curtain, light and plug. The free dinner was ok but very boring so could be improved on. The bar upstairs was ideal with cheap drinks and a view of the patronas towers and sky tower, which are different colours at night. The hostel put on a 7 wonders tour which was good fun

I recommend that you don't go to Kuala Lumpar without staying at Reggae Mansion.

If you search for a party hostel in KL, this is the place to go. Everything perfectly organized for backpackers and the highlight is the rooftopbar with a DJ. If you prefer a quiet place to stay, this is probably not the best option for you.

If just the staffs are more friendly and helpful, then it would be a great hostel.

Amazing place to meet people and party

THIS IS A PARTY HOSTEL!!! Don't come here expecting amazing value for money or a peaceful nights sleep ( although I did sleep very well to be fair). The music is playing until 3 pm every night and if you are in the dorms you will hear it. They do offer ear plugs and lots of other services the place is very clean. The hostel offers so much you don't really need to leave for anything other than sight seeing. The staff are a bit mixed some are great but some are not helpful at all.

Yes we are a party hostel!! On our website it was stated that we are a party hostel, During check in that was highlighted to all our guests too. You have chosen you stay with us in spite of all these info and now you are complaining?

Only stayed here a short time but the facilities are amazing, the rooftop is quite cool and best of all it is right near the metro station!!! The location was fabulous for adventuring around the city. Beds were pod style, a BIG hostel with lots of rooms, it was harder to meet people but still a great spot. Awesome bathrooms and overall cleanliness.

Charging for the use of computers and making people use only your adapters is greedy.

Fantastic hostel!! Spacious beds, nice rooftop bar and easy to meet other travelers. Facilities were quite good too.

Easy to find hostel as it is located 5 minutes from LRT station. Facilities were good. Our room was Modern and clean but it was lacking a window and was fairly small. Their policy has now changed and they offer a free dinner instead of breakfast. This is a small potion but very tasty! Overall we enjoyed our stay. Although this is a party hostel, our private room was very quiet!

Ok I don't normally leave feedback on this site but after staying at The Reggae Mansion I feel like I have to. I've stayed in many hostels and this is hands down the best I have ever stayed in. We stayed in the 24 bed dorm and it was great fun, we met lots of people from all over the world. The pods give you your own privacy and space and the rooftop bar was amazing. The only downside was spending most our time in the hostel and not seeing as much of the city as we'd have liked.

Love this place! I wont stay at any other place in KL

Thank you! Wonderful hostel, very modern and clean. Rooftop bar was great and staff very friendly and helpful

Great hostel with a really good rooftop bar, it is a bit expensive but has a great atmosphere and party til late! In a brilliant location in china town and near to the bus station for buses out of the city. Also really close to the metro for getting around the city

Nice location and nice roof bar to enjoy the city
