Great Hostel with great character. The only downside is the lady on the front desk. (With the glasses) You will know what I mean if you stay there. She is maybe the rudest person I have met in my life. Apart from that it is a great little hostel. Not as much character as the one in KL but still great

Other than the really time consuming check-in I cannot fault this hostel. It's in a really good location and has good facilities as well as being clean. The dorms are the best I have ever stayed in anywhere with really good privacy between beds. It's almost like having your own room. The hostel definitely has some of the friendliest staff I've met on my travels so far, 'Lani' especially was brilliant. The drinks weren't cheap but that's the case across all of Malaysia.

All in all a really nice hostel, great breakfast and parties. But the facts, that there was money stolen from me and that the staff at the reception was incompent, made me feel a little bit uncomfortable.

I liked this place. The pod's were a nice private touch in what would be normally small rooms, but nice not having bunk beds. The bar is great, and you really don't hear the music that much at night when sleeping. Location is perfect, food is good, breakfast is awesome for a freebie. Could use more showers / toilets, but that being said I never had to wait to use them. Free towels, and solid wifi. Check it out.
