A bit out of the way, but very clean and secure. The walk to the old town is actually quite pleasant if you stroll along the beach (probably 45 mins).

It is located in one of the best areas of Madrid, you have the city centre very close but you also are near Malasaña and Chueca. The staff is really friendly, and though they could use some air conditioning in the rooms, the facilities are great and clean.

Pleasant walk to beach..clean rooms. Booked double and single as there were no triple rooms but was no problem for any of us.. Staff were lovely .. Very helpful with free use of the computer. Would stay there again and recommend easily. beautiful city.

Big place, a nice walk into old town.

All in all it was an ok experience. One of the rooms we had reserved was occupied.... So we had to scramble and cram 3 people into single beds. The facilities were nice and the location was ok, there was a lot of 13-18 year olds there which was odd but they didn´t bother anyone. We did get money back for the room but it was frustrating having to problem solve when we already had reservations.

Need much much better directions on how to get there! Wifi was excellent

The hostel is clean and has lots of amenities like private bathrooms and laundry on site... But because it is at the University it is very far from the beach and old town... About a 20 minute walk. It is also one of the loudest hostels I have ever stayed in. Cleaning staff start very early and are not careful about how loud they are. No one around to monitor other guests at night so they are able to run amoc.
