Member of staff aggressive and unhelpful. Said he would provide sheets for bed but did not for the whole stay. Whole experience sleezy. I do not recommend anyone to go

Very clean and cute rooms, supplied with clean sheets and towels, and even some snacks! Easy to find and very close to the Galleria di Ufizzi, Ponte Vecchio and other attractions. Enjoyed my stay there!

I found this hostel via hostelworld.com. Due to several good ratings, I decided to stay there with a friend for a couple of days on my trip to Florence. I made a mistake when I reserved a room, but when we got there, we had a free upgrade. The staff is nice, the hostel is clean and the location is perfect. It,s quiet, but you only need a 5-minutes-walk to the center. All in all we enjoyed our stay at Riverbank's -> 5/5 stars.

The place is clean, quiete and the location is pretty good, close to the main touristic sights of the city. Since when in the low season (November) the host even gave me a better room than the one I booked, which was very nice. If you are looking to meet people it's not the best place though, but if you want something more quiet, that's a good pick.

Private rooms are very nice and an incredible value for the comfort and location. Location is perfect as all the sightseeing is within an easy walk and just a few paces from a scenic stretch of the Arno River. Plenty of electrical plug converters (U.S. device compatible) free for guest use, which is great. Not a very social hostile, as it's very small with mostly private rooms, but that's to be expected. Common room in lobby was comfy with a nice TV.

We were greeted by a young lady, who told us where to go. The room was huge nicely decorated and clean. There were 4 beds in the room . A welcome kettle and nibbles was lovely. The drink etc that was in the fridge could be purchased. In the shower room there were accessories to give it a homely feel. The only big minus it would get was the air freshener in the shower room was very over powering Location was fantastic just out of the town and the river within a short walk.

If you value privacy and location and want to stick to a tight budget - this place is for you. Rooms are spacious, clean and ensuite (at least ours was). Girl who runs the B&B is nice and hospitable. It's situated on the 2nd floor of a regular appartment building. Its location is probably the best imaginable in Florence: a 5-10 mins walk away from palazzo Vecchio and adjacent to via dei Neri with fabulous food stores including the legendary All'Antico Vinaio. Bang for your bucks!

Staff was friendly and helpful and the location is amazing (all sights are within 10min walking distance, most less than 5min). The room was very big, clean and met all the expectations.

Great hostel in a cool neighborhood, outside the craziness of the tourist areas but still a lot to see and do! Very comfortable bed as well :)

Perfect position. It is just a 5-minute walk from Piazza della Signoria and 10 minutes from the Duomo. In the area there are pubs, restaurants, cafès and a supermarket. The staff is very nice. The room was big, with a new bathroom.

The entrance of the place might make you think that you have done a mistake in booking this place! but inside is awesome! Our room was decorated really good, it was more like a hotel than a hostel! The location is great, you can walk to all the historical places!

Very cosy and cool place. Love the building's architecture and vibe, really gets one in the Renaissance mood.

We had a great stay at Riverbanks hostel. We initially booked a private room with a shared bathroom but upon arrival we got upgraded to a private bathroom. Excellent! Wifi was a little patchy in some areas of the room.

Great location but a little hard to find at first. Rooms were clean. We were the only people there though and didn't spend much time in our room. Nothing to complain about.

I really enjoyed this hostel. The location is incredible, the rooms were very nice, and the wifi was incredibly fast. Would defiantly stay here again.
