Ryokan Wajimaya was cosy and welcoming. The ryokan has a lot of character and it was a wonderful experience to live there for 2 nights. Thank you for the wonderful time there! We loved Kyoto, we loved the Ryokan and we will definitely come back to stay here when we come to Kyoto next.

This is a really nice Ryokan (for people who like original Japan Style Houses, like me :) ).Anyway I would book it again, also over hostelworld.com !!

The ryokan was great. Only thing you should be aware of is their 11pm curfew. If you are the type to have any sort of night life, I would suggest finding a different place to stay.
