Sanlitun Youth Hostel Reviews

Although I only stayed for one night, I was really pleased with this hostel. I came in late --past my arrival time-- because my train was delayed, and there were still people up ready to help me check in. Everything was clean and lovely and it was far from the street so traffic noise was really minimal. I slept like a baby! =)

Very nice hostel, location is great, just five minutes to Sanlitun. Mind that there are now shampoo or shower gel in the room, so you should bring your own.

The only thing I can think of is some more informationo n arrival would be nice. Like check out times, food service times, whether we can hire towels, wifi e.t.c but that's me being picky :)

Great price, really clean for China standards, around 15 mins walk from metro, not as close as advertised. They have the cutest dog I've ever seen and the food is pretty good too. I only wished the beers were cheaper or that the restaurant could accept credit cards!

Very good!! Very clean. The food isn't so good but ok for first time in China. Extremely well located!.

A/C in room wasn't really working well and bathrooms would benifit a little upgrade/renovation (although they were very clean), but overall an excellent hostel!

The bar/cafe area is nice with a good range of food and drinks for reasonable prices. Organising the tours and shows through the hostel was super easy and the information they had available was good however if you want to sleep this is not a great place as the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything going on in the hallway and unfortunately this can get very noisy.

The staff was very helpful in planning our itinerary. The were patient with all the questions that I kept asking them.

I was really happy with my stay and can't find anything negative about the hostel. The members of the staff are all friendly and all speak a very good English which makes everything easier. i would advise anybody do stay there!

The staff make this place, as they do anywhere. They're amazing and helpful. The vibe is not great, don't even try to bring any food or drink of your own onto the patio, as a squat woman will come and berate you. But hey, this is China, and China loves rules.

Unfortunately I could only stay there for one night, but I would always go there again when I'm back in Bejing.

I thought it was a very good atmosphere, very vibrant, lively and friendly.

Should improve explanation on how to get from airport and a bit of the cleaning in the room. Wifi in the room would be great. in fact a really good hostel

I had a problem with a guided tour I had booked and the staff went out of their way to help me sort it out - THANK YOU SO MUCH! Really enjoyed my stay, would definitely recommend this hostel to friends! x

Their services with tours and travel are great, they are very accommodating and helpful.

We had a great time. We got a lot of help from the staff. We felt like home.

Loved it. great lobby. pool table. Super breakfast.
