I liked the hostel, good facilities and common room. There weren't many people staying here when I was there as it was low season but it would be a good place to chill out.

The staff only seemed to like brazians, which is a really bad mind set if you work at a hostel. Lucas was the only friendly one. the chick who worked there was completely unhelpful with helping us get around. we asked where a pharmacy was, she looked at us and said i don{t know. not friendly and would never go back.

Compared to hostels in Brazil this one is over the average, you can walk to the central park and to the metro, they have free wi-fi and computers with fast internet, big fans in the rooms and lockers for each bed.

The staff was fantastic and so helpful! Loved the movie nights and they even planned a night to take a bunch of us out. Felt very safe and enjoyed the residential location. Thanks for everything!

The most expensive hostel have stayed in brazil. And the only one with no breakfast? Which makes it even more expensive. Had to pay a different price than which was on Hostelword because we had to change the dates. So instead of being 40 per night It was 49. = 36 more than we thought for 2 nights. Didn't even reply to our email explaining the reason we had to change the date. Worst hostel for the most money!!!!

PROS: The location is great, in Vila Mariana, which is a very safe, residential neighborhood, while still close to the center. The subway station and a supermarket are close too. CONS: They aren't very clean. The staff is way too permissive with people who don't wash their dishes, so the kitchen is *always* dirty. The beds have bug beds!!! The dryer in the laundry room takes about 3 hours to get clothes dry.

I liked the staff and the atmosfere. But the rooms were not the cleanest and always had this weird smell because it didn't had large windows. Other than that it's 'liveable'

The hostel was a little to up tight about waking you up at 11 am at check out. They did give us another one but every other hostel I stayed in did not care if we sleeped in to 3 pm. I like to sleep in, but other then that it was a great hostel.

This hostel is awesome, I had fun staying there! Out of all the hostels I've been to it's my favourite! It's really styley with the artwork on the walls. I always found it was nice and clean. The 6 bedroom room I was in had lots of space. There was everything I needed and it was cool having free internet. I liked the staff a lot, they're really really friendly and would always help me out! I want to go back there and you should totally go too =)

Hostel is not exactly 5 minutes from the Metro, moreover in order to reach the hostel you have to walk in a slope which is fine when you get to the hostel but not when you return from the hostel with a Mochila, The place is a bit old and could use some renovation, i would expect that some questions could be answered easily like how to get to the international airport, the fact that some of the attractions are not open at certail business hours.
