DO NOT STAY HERE, when we arrived we found bed bugs in our room and had to move hostels. Luckily the lady at reception was understanding and gave our money back with no problems. Felt very unhygienic in the room, in the kitchen and common area. Not worth the stay for how cheap it is, you can get a cleaner, safer and better for not much more money. Worth the extra £.

I felt safe to share my personality here and made so many friends. We do something different everyday! We speak in all of our languages with each other, and we party a lot! 💕 I can speak Portuguese and English….even if you don’t, you will feel welcomed here, parece de uma família 🙈🥰. I have yet to find a hostel that gives you this level of normalcy. Im going to keep coming back here because I made friends I don’t want to forget. When I leave, I’ll miss them. Worst experience I've ever had in a hostel and the reviews reflect this. The 'volunteers'(all brazillian btw) are more or less there to party and hangout. This wouldn't be a problem in general except we are in a pandemic and they let some obviously sick people stay in the hostel. I eventually caught it and didn't realize it at first. It only appeared a day later. I missed my flight and now I am stuck here for 14 days and lost my flight ticket. Awful experience due to complacency and uncleanline
