Please don\'t suggest other people this hostel anymore:get it out of your system! There is no seaview at all because they are building a huge Sheraton complex between the hostel and the sea! This work is already going on for 4 or 5 years and it makes a terrible noice between 7am and 10pm! The hostel hosts only workers for this building job. The hostel is not clean and no one takes care of reparations in the hostel. It is a hostel in dispair. The lady takes more care of her starting tourist office

The best hostel in Asia! The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome, and Nabustil's cooking class is Amazing! Delicious food, and you get breakfast in the morning. They helped me to print boarding passes, arrange transport and trips, and everything else. Very reliable internet, decent beds, clean showers. HIGHLY recommended.

I couldn't have felt more at home as i did! The Owner Nabistul is a wonderful welcoming person, she makes your stay as if you would stay with your family itself. The place is basic, but clean and you will find everything you need there! I also appreciated the location, directly oposit the central marked, its a great spot to come around sandakan. If you have the chance, take the already famouse cooking class and try the wonderful pumpkin coconut chicken :)

You can sort out your whole trip in Sabah here if you choose but you'll not be pressured if you don't want anything. Very friendly staff.

Nabistul was a very helpful host both before and during our stay. Fried bananas on arrival were amazing. She also included us in evening meals without even asking us and breakfast was brought to our room a couple of times when my wife was not very well. Our room was clean on arrival and wifi and air con all worked well. Communal bathrooms need some work which the owner is addressing piece by piece. The only problem is two seperate construction works happening on either side of the hostel which can be v

We had the most amazing stay here. The owner is so kind and unbelievably helpful. This is more like a home-stay than a hotel. We highly recommend staying here if you want good food and excellent service. The rooms are average yet we stayed an extra night just because we wanted to have a cooking class, which was awesome. I have never met a better manager at a hostel. You will be well taken care of here.
