Great place to stay! It was perfectly what I needed! It's hard to sleep in because in the mornings, there's so much noise because it's downtown. The dorms were a little small so it was not so easy to make friends.. In my room there was a stripteaser and older women... Not what I'm used to ! But overall I really enjoyed my stay!

This was my third time staying at Seaside and it has always been a great place in awesome location in Waikiki. The staff rating would have been excellent this time if not for one particularly unpleasant woman with some kind of chip on her shoulder, the rest of the staff was great as was the owner who came in on a few mornings to make waffles for the guests for breakfast. I'd stay again!

Very good place to stay, economical, good location and everyone there is so friendly. Best part of my trip and the most fun I had was due to the hostel. Met great people and made great memories. You will not be disappointed.

Seaside Hawaiian is a great place to stay in Waikiki. The staff are all helpful and really friendly (especially Bruna!) and the shaded courtyard is the perfect place to relax. Definitely the place to go for a chilled-out atmosphere.

People coming in and out would not check to see if security door closed shut. Sometimes people coming in and out of the room did not lock it when coming in or leaving. I know the management tried to get rid of the bed bug problem and roach problem, but I had so many bed bug bites that I would not return to this location.

Location is great, staff were helpful. A computer with internet was offered for free use which is good if you didn't bring one. Overall great feel with the community kitchen and outside patio which allows people to meet each other in comfort.

Over all I had a great stay at seaside. The room was clean and the bathroom was as well, however there was one large issue. I noticed that I had been itching after my first night but didn't pay it any attention. Several days later when I arrived back home I realized that I had lice. This is extremely upsetting.

Bad beds and no window glass, no safety door. Loud noise and not clean.
