The location is good as it is right in the centre BUT it is also righ in the middle of the red light district which might make some people feel uncomfortable, especially given its a Christian hostel. rooms are very basic. breakfast is ok.

I didnt know this was a Christian Hotel. That should be on the website. Also that it is drug and alcohol free. For a place like Amsterdam, you should really notify people that they can\'t participate in what is legal in the country in the place they live. Staff tried to spark conversation about Jesus and Christianity and it was very uncomfortable. The showers had little/no water pressure. Had to pay additional deposit for lockers and didnt know in advance. Unorganized and uncomfortable

Really good stay, it would have been nice to have locks on the doors to our rooms but that's my only complaint, it was very clean and the breakfast was great!

Clean, helpful staff, and friendly people. The location is within easy walking distance of everything, and it is certainly an experience staying in the red light district. I was in a very large room with 16 girls, which made it quite difficult to sleep, but the price is right and the breakfast alone is worth the money. The fact that it is a Christian hostel meant that I did not wish to participate in any of their activities, but all in all a safe place to stay.

Staff was very helpful, rooms were clean and well-kept, and very accessible location - as well as a good ham+cheese breakfast with egg and toast!

The location excellent, close to metro, red light district, tram, museuns, etc. The breakfast included its poor. I have been in another hostel in Amsterdam and it was great breakfast buffet....could be better than just toast and juice or bread and cheese and juice. The worst it was some people who seems live there. Many times in the bathroom they were cutting hair, wasching your feets, so I didn t like that, disgusting. I recomend just if you have little money, cheaspest one in Adam

Would suggest! Don't be put off by the idea of a "christian" hostel going against the "amsterdam experience". It's true that there are bibles everywhere and jesus loving signs on the wall, but I think that a christian hostel more accurately translates to clean and quiet. Plus free pancakes in the morning!
