First time backpacker? You’re in the right place. Located in the heart of Amsterdam, ClinkCoco is brimming with color, character, and amazing guests! Whether you choose a themed private room or a comfy dorm bed, you can kick back in our inviting living room before diving into one of Europe’s best cities.

Our rooms are uniquely designed, offering everything from private rooms (Triple, Twin or Doubles) to 6-bed dorms (and everything in between). At ClinkCoco, you’re never alone. Share travel stories and meals at our communal table. Make friends and hang out with fellow travellers in our private garden or common room or cook up a storm in our fully equipped kitchen—perfect for keeping costs down.
Feeling homesick or just need some furry company? Our friendly resident cat is here to keep you company and add to the cozy, homey vibe. 😊

this was such a nice hostel to stay in! the beds were comfy, it was mostly quiet, room was super cute and the kitchen/common space is awesome, it feels very homely! however, there was no reception (contrary to what’s written) when i arrived early hoping to drop my bags, and when i finally called the ‘emergency’ number they said they were understaffed and no one would be there til check in time. if i had known this i could planned differently! confusing and very unprofessional communication.

ClinkCoco is a safe bet however it depends on the room. For the past 5 stays, I've opted for the 4 person bunk bed rooms and had luck with the KLM and Cheese rooms. I recently stayed in the "Bike" room and there was evidence of mold/mildew on the ceiling of the bathroom and an overwhelming smell of it in the room. It is unhealthy to breathe. Manager blamed the lack of ventilation of the old building. No excuse. Fix it. Bunk charging stations need updating, they don't support usb-c, only usb.

Hostelworld says

Cocomama was voted the best in the Netherlands at the 2011 Hoscars and it's not hard to see why, guests have said this boutique hostel is "the opposite to the big corporate hostels that lack character", with clean, newly furnished rooms "done up to the small detail". Hostelworld reviewers tell us the staff "love their city [and] will give you all the info you need on where to go", making this hostel feel "like a home away from home". We particularly like the resident cat and the large back garden.
