Second time i've stayed at this hostel, and was even better than before. Great staff, great atmosphere.

Great hostel with a great staff. The rooms were a little noisy with thin walls, but the staff and the vibe in the place more than made up for it.

Stayed here three nights; Siam Journey is average to below. It's tucked back in an authentic Thai neighborhood, the beds are decent and the common room is welcoming and social, but the bathrooms are pretty rugged and smell like septic. The kicker for me was the staff: They're helpful if prodded, but are generally a couple of condescending dudes more or less burnt out on the job. Unless of course you're an attractive female, in which case they'll dance the Charleston on top of a flagpole.

the hostel was a little difficult to find in the dark but once you know where it is it's easy.its a small quiet place to stay.located down a tiny street, good if you want to see how the locals really live.not good for nightlife.air con in the room and free wifi! but the beds were alittle hard for my liking.overall a pleasant stay.

The best Thing about this hotel was their staff, very kind and really helpful. very good people. Another thing, when we were in Siem Reap there was a cut off electricity and almost the entire city was without electricity but the hotel never loose it, I dont know why but it was very important because of the air cond.

Great, great! Cosy, clean, beds are super comfy and linen smell so nice. Typical Thai food street is nearby and you can get cheap food there. Staff is great - we went out everyday and had a great time! I have a feeling if I hadn't had the flight booked already, I'd have stayed a couple of more nights, that's how good it was:)

Booked 2 nights and stayed 4 or 5. I enjoyed it. There was a german guy saying that movie night ruins the atmosphere of the place, but the only thing ruining it was his complaints. Good location, close to train and markets which never seem to close. Theres also a train to the cambodian border right nearby that costs only 48 baht. American guys working there are pretty genuine and friendly.

Very friendly staff and great location tucked away in the heart of Bangkok. However, there aren't many beds and it's a little hard to find so make sure you book early and print out the directions! A good place to stay.

Nice little hostel. At first I was not able to find it, but it is really easy actually. Go into Soi Nom Chit, take the first right, then turn left and keep walking until you see the hostel on your right (watch for the flipflops outside on the curb, I noticed them before I noticed the hostel's sign) It is very close to Phaya Thai BTS. The staff is very friendly and helpful and speaks English fluently.

It took us some time to find the exact location of hostel but the host were helpful in guiding us. The is space crunch in rooms but not that bad. Overall, it was a nice experience and would like to thank hosts for our wonderful stay.

The hostel was quite difficult to locate at first, but it turned out an excellent place for my short holiday. Close to the shopping centres and Phaya Thai BTS station (convenient location if you'd like to arrange a meeting with your friends).

Loved my stay here, and will be back again - even if it is under my adopted name candy :) Geng and Shaun'i made the stay very pleasurable and are happy to help you out. Also arrange a lot of tours locally - well worth a stay :) also nice and quiet of the main road - an added bonus

Amazing place to stay, staff was very helpful and went out with us every night to show us around. Great location next to lots of good, cheap street food. Just make sure to pay attention to where you are so you dont miss the Canton House restaraunt.
