St Christopher's Paris - Canal offers a friendly atmosphere and helpful staff, with comfortable beds and good security. Absolutely perfect stay. Fantastic location, close to two metro lines and very close to my concert venue! I was able to walk back and forth safely along the canal, even late at night it was well populated. The hostel was fantastic- I appreciated the security guard checking keys at the door. Front desk staff was always helpful, even when I locked myself out of my room at 4am! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were well situated and always clean and stocked. Will absolutely stay again

Very pleased with how clean it was. Only thing is the staff were always annoyed when I had questions or asked for help. They weren't very friendly. Also, the locker drawers don't close enough to get a lock on them, they really need to fix that. other than that the property is beautiful on the canal and the rooms and bathrooms were very clean. I liked the self service laundry too. One thing to be aware of us is there is not a shelf or ledge near your bed for phone and stuff was always falling

Disappointed overall. Not very clean, locker broken. I was the youngest in my room by about 25 years. There was a school trip staying at the hostel during my stay. Kids were screaming and banging on doors. Felt very uncomfortable walking to the showers/bathrooms with groups of 13 year olds lingering in the corridors.
