Very flexible, nice staff. Excellent location. The hall locker idea is wonderful, greatly reduces the noise in the room. There is luggage storage after you check out for 0.20€ an hour. This is a large facility, so expect to bring shower shoes, a towel, earplugs, etc if you're sensitive to environmental changes. There are soap and toilet paper in the bathrooms. This is a great place if you are in town for just a couple days and need a safe place to stash your stuff/lay your head.

The bunk beds were really close together which made it hard to climb to the top bunk. There was only 1 plug in our room which was really frustrating. It didn't seem like there was a light switch to turn on the main lights in the room so when the sun went down, that was that. The cost of using the computers for internet was ridiculously high - 3 euros for 1 hr or 1.50 for 15 minutes. But the location is wonderful - everything is within walking distance. And breakfast is delicious!

It was a pleasant surprise when we got to the Hostel. My brothers and I were very well received and treated there. Even with a delay on our part we got the rooms, after calling telling them so. But it was a nice stay, the hostel is comfy, very good atmosphere and they deliver as promised through the site. Excelent.

Location is great, security is great, facilities lacking needs a kitchen all they have is a microwave behind the counter, pretty expensive for not offering much other than a bed and showers which reminds me of days at camp. Had a good time here though definitely needs a kitchen and a bigger area to socialise. Staff where very friendly and helpful. It was an okay hostel better ones around in Amsterdam wouldn't stay here again.

Best hostel I have stayed in, in terms of what you get for for your money. Perfect location, decent breakfast, beds were comfortable and solid (no squeaking) with good bed linen. All round very happy. Was perfectly happy in the 20 bed dorm.

Pros:Good beds, big lockers, great breakfast, very kind staff, convinient location very central but still in a pretty mellow street. Cons:very dirty showers and toilets, you can't check in before 2(we knew this) and they charge to store your luggage, wifi was very poor and there were very few power outlets, or you could pay to charge your gadgets. You get your money's worth it's a good place to explore Amsterdam.

Stayed at the 20 bed female dorm. The lockers outside is a great idea because people don't disturb each other while packing and unpacking their stuff. Thought it was a little on the expensive side, but the building was easy to find, and is a safe neighborhood.

the only thing I may complain about is the almost total absence of plugs in the rooms. I was in a 20 beds room and there were only two. As I guess it is not that straightforward to add more plugs, maybe you can provide rooms with some extension cords with multiple plugs :)

This is one of those huge hostels with tons of people staying at once. The dorms are pretty cramped, and the common area is small and not the best place to meet people. However, the location is great and the place has what you need.

The staff was honestly hit or miss. I asked where the nearest cash machine was and the person at the front desk had no idea, but told me to just walk around...while another staff member said she was unable to move around people so my friend and I could sleep in the same room, we asked another staff member later in the day and he fixed it with no problem. So, some staff members aren't as competent as others.

The best breakfast and great location...only bad thing is that it has no atmosphere, is not a hostel for making friends. But it's okay if you want to sleep well, have a good breakfast and leave. :)

There was only one outlet in our room but a ton in the hallway so be ready for that. The staff was nice but totally unhelpful when it came to the facilities. For example no soap in bathrooms

The location was great, staff excellent and overall a great experience. I had a bit of trouble meeting people as I was alone and there were a lot of big groups. Overall though it was a really great hostel

Overall my stay here was good, but there were two things that hurt my experience. The first was a language barrier--it was difficult to converse with the front desk personnel--who i should be able to to for anything. Second was the fact that there was no suitcase room and no advertised check-in time. THUS, I arrived at noon with no where to put my bags except to BUY a locker for two hours, after, mind you, paying for my reservation. Most hostels have a place for luggage and do not charge.

One socket in dorm of 20! No lights other than the main ones. No hooks or any sort of storage by beds. Just little basic things which really make a difference. Showers were good. Staff helped a fair bit, especially after someone was sick in the dorm. The breakfast was fantastic but it doesn't make sense to lock this room during the day. No kitchen, no café.

Great hostel, I would stay again. Clean bedrooms and great to have a free breakfast every morning. Bathrooms were generally clean but not very modern. There isn't much social space however and it would be good to have the breakfast room open all day, especially in the evenings as you can't talk or socialize with people in your rooms as others are trying to sleep. But overall a great place with friendly staff and we all enjoyed our stay.

The hostel itself is not that easy to be found as said in the description. The beds are of a good quality. Bedroom-problem No.1: way the less electric sockets. The breakfast is really good, and a lot. Unlike other hostels, this one doesn't have a bar at command, which is a bit sad I think. This lack makes it a bit more complicated to meet new lads at the hostel. All in all it's a good one. But still there are things that could be made better.
