Off the beaten path. Was with my cousin- had trouble meeting interesting people at the hostel. Bathroom was cold (went in March). Shower was hot but no force behind it. 16 people is a huge room. The beds, sheets and breakfast were all great. The staff was super helpful when needed. They even printed for free. Overall, not an awful hostel but now my favorite.

Very well located. 2-3 minutes you are in red light district, dam or other part of Amsterdam Centrum. Really close to Central Station. The stuff are the niciest people I have ever met. Dutch people are amazing… always ready to help you and smilling at you! The breakfast is amazing… the dorms have a lot of space. And the bathrooms are always cleaning. The check out should be until midday and not till 10h30 am. BTW, i really loved my staying in stay ok.

Decent hostel in Amsterdam not too far from the city centre and several must-see sights. Nice free breakfast (different sort of bread with several spreads, cereals, milk, yoghurt, coffee, orange juice..); clean and spacious rooms though maybe not that appealing, free wifi, no kitchen so no possibility to cook your own food, still we had a pretty good stay!

This was my first time staying in a hostel and I was more than pleasantly surprised. Everything seemed in order and clean. Good location. Friendly staff. I definitely felt safe; I liked having the option of staying in an all-girls room. Had the weather not been so terrible, I would have liked to take advantage of the discounts they offer on museums and things to do. Perhaps next time.

We stayed 2 nights at the hostel and it was great ! the ambiance, the location and facilities were really good. The stuff really helped us and recommended amazing places to visit, trains and low cost activities. The price was also ok and included breakfast as well. Cleanliness in bedrooms was excellent and the other girls were easy-going. If I had to change anything,it might be bathrooms whose showers and mirrors were a little bit small..but not very important :)

staff were very rude to me and my group. The people at the front desk were not friendly and the cleaners were even worse.

Nice, clean and well-located hostel. Lacking any kind of hostel-vibe though.

+appreciated cleanliness & location -the staff and the cleaning lady weren't really friendly. -There's no enough hair driers to hire. (You're required to pay 20euro for deposit!) -Really hard to find the sockets! (Sockets only available in the lobby but are all gathered in a crowded area with several chairs. Only 2 on the wall where is really high in female-dorm. ) -The dorm is big, but it's not really spacious between beds. -No reading light! -The door of the dorm makes huge noise.

Staff is friendly but not too knowledgable. The rooms aren't the cleanest but it is totally livable. 6 person dorms are soooo much nicer than the 10 person ones. Happy hour is great!!! Bar staff is always friendly and beer is cheap! Does not have a good atmosphere for meeting people. Not the greatest if you are a solo traveler. There are wayyyy too many families and school groups. There was a toddler who had a melt down in the lobby just the other day. Over all good value.

An amazing hostel, very well-located (pretty central), with a beautiful view from the one of the many canals of the city and it has a very cool character. The staff was always very atentive, and the bathrooms are numerous and almost always clean. Recommended!

This hostel net is great, they have a really good breakfast and nice bedrooms, hot shower, and the location is great, right next to the red light district and a few minutes away from the center if you're walking. Next to a supermarket too. The hostel has no bar but they aloud you to drink your beverages there, with is great couse you can buy beer at the market and drink there. They could have a guest kitchen once there is no bar or restaurant but anyway, its a really good hostel.

The staff could had been a little more cheerful. When I first arrived, they didnt present the city to me, as it is usualy done in other hostels. Another problem is the safety. A guy from my room had his phone stolen and they didnt do anything, eventhough, there werent much things to do. Overall, it was a good experience.

The breakfast was great! But I would leave that room open also in the evening so one can have a drink and socialise with other people staying in the hostel.

The staff was very helpful. They gave us many excellent suggestions for places to go for food and sites to see. They made our stay enjoyable and simple. The breakfast was PHENOMENAL and the wifi worked pretty well throughout. The other travelers were interesting and friendly, if a little loud (which is to be expected in hostel dorms!). I would definitely go back to this hostel.

The location was awesome, and the facilities were decent enough. It would have been nice if there was a little cubby or something next to the bed to put your phone/keys. I also wish there was wifi in the rooms - it was just in the common rooms. Breakfast was great! The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was chill, and there were never any crazy partiers when we were there, which I really appreciated. You could go out if you wanted that atmosphere. Will definitely be back!
