we went there for the full moon season and were a little worried because of all the bad reviews but the staff was incredibly nice and helpful and an austrian guy who owns a great bakery on the other side of the street told us that the owners changed two months ago, so thats maybe why. there is of course mosquitos (so bring a net if you have) and other animals you find in a garden, but the bungalows are lovely and its nice to sit on the balcony. also it was clean and had rintown is really close.
good place to stay. cheap, clean, quiet but close to everything
Stayed at Thai Dee for the Full Moon Party in August. The staff was helpful, and the facilities weren't bad. But the beach is a 5-10min walk, and the price was doubled during the Full Moon Week. Can't help but think there was accommodation closer to the beach or a little nicer for the same price...
Me and four of my friends stayed in Thai Dee over the full moon, it was an excellent locations, clean and comfy beds. The aircon wasn't the best but there was fans too so it was cool enough

We had a very enjoyable 5 night stay here for the full moon party. Lovely little bungalows which are in a perfect location. 5 mins from Hardrin which is just enough away from the madness and 5 mins walk also from Coral bungalows for the pool party. Also 7/11 is across the road for your bits and pieces. Highly reccomended.
The bungalows were very cute with a nice communal garden. The staff were pleasant and helpful. It was far from the main full-moon party beach and the little town. There's a 7/11 just down the road.
Good location out of all the action but walking distance. Ants in bathroom but nothing major. Staff were rude and after we checked in I realised my sheets had some glow paint on.With the hostel being so cheap I didn't complain. I took a picture (luckily) as when we checked out we had a blazing row with the older owner and he accused me of making the marks. He was very rude. The son is not to bad. So if you stay here just deal with him. Also great bakery across the road! Is a must for breakfast
