Good place to stay, nice facilities, although in a room with 10 beds and no windows, individual lights would be a great improvement. I have to mention the fact that a mistake was made, as they booked my bed before I check out, so I had to move to another bed. This was an unpleasant situation only because staff moved my stuff out of the bed in my absence and without realising that something was wrong. It was not professional at all. Breakfast was simple but good.

Nice place. We would stay again. The only downside is the rooms facing the street (one on each floor) are extremely noisy - there is even a sign on the door apologising for this. Buses idle right outside the window. We slept ok, but for anyone with even slight noise sensitivity, it could be an issue.

It would have been nicer if all of the outlets inside the room are working. The carpet inside the room should have been cleaned from bugs. Room slippers should have been provided since shoes are not allowed inside.

Great common area. Breakfast is mehhh, but it's free and pretty on par with everywhere else I've stayed in Asia so no complaints! The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were simple, but clean and bathrooms were very nice and clean. Easy to get to from the airport or on the LRT.

The beds were really comfortable for a hostel!

Nice backpacker hostel. This place is big though. If you're looking for the small cozy experience this place probably won't work for you. No wifi in rooms, only in the lobby - where there are couches and tables. Staff was really helpful and nice. Walking distance to transportation, tourist sites, good food.

We stayed three nights at the Explorers Guesthouse and Hotel and found it to be very welcoming and pleasant. The staff were very welcoming an friendly as well as a wealth of knowledge for the disorientated traveler. There is free WIFI on the ground floor and two computers that are also free to use. There are no printing facilities but the staff are able to point you in the right direction. The Guesthouse is just down the road from Chinatown and the Central Market, great spot!

IT WAS CLOSE TO THE CHINA TOWN,CONVENIENT FOR SURE BUT ALSO A LITTLE MESSY AROUND THE GUESTHOUSE.THE RECEPTIONIST COULD SPEAK ENGLISH,MANDARIN AND CANTONESE WHICH ALWAYS GIVE HELPFUL INFO ABOUT YOUR TRAVEL PLAN.MIXED ROOM WOULD BE A LITTLE DISTURBED WHILE YOU WANNA A GOOD SLEEP AT NIGHT.

We stayed here for 8 nights, a long stay looking at the coming and going. The hostel was clean tidy and staff were friendly and helpful. However hardly slept at all as the noise from the road and other guests was unbearable. There is always a min of 4 busses parked outside with drivers beeping and shouting. Walls are paper thin and other guests do not keep noise down. Good location as by metro to get around city easy. No wifi in rooms was bad too.

Great hostel. We started and ended our trip here. Very clean, great location and good beds. Staff is very nice and helpfull and the free candy is a bonus :-) Thanks!!!

An otherwise excellent stay was marred by the very low quality of the overly soft mattresses. I did not get a good night's sleep because I woke up with a backache. Please invest in high quality mattresses.

It was a bit of a noisy place at night, not from people having fun but from slamming doors and noisy people on the hallway. But it was clean and the staff was extremly helpful and nice. A great place to stay all in all..

Great hostel. Clean, good sized rooms. Excellent staff, very helpful and friendly and always smiling. Only slight downside is that wifi is only available downstairs, which means area is not as sociable as it could be as people are just sat looking at their phones! Just a small point though, overall it's an excellent hostel.

Great location and friendly staff. Rooms and bathrooms were always being cleaned. I stayed in a 6 bed dorm which had a lot of space, was not cramped at all.

It's a really nice hostel to stay in. It took us a while to find it though. Close to china town and 10 mins walk to the metro, really nice staff and good facility. Comfortable bed and pillow, I would totally stay there again!

The location of the hostel is practical for tourism but it is not that nice. It is not the hostel fault but the impression we got from Kuala Lumpur was of a city that is dirty and disorganized and the reason might be that we stayed there. The hostel itself is nice and clean, the staff is helpful and has a 24 hour front desk.

A very chill and relaxing atmosphere with clean baths and toilets. Staff are friendly and very approachable. Being in the middle of two train stations serving 3 different lines, and with Petaling Street (Chinatown) just across the street, and the start point of the KL Marathon being a 5 minutes walk away, this location is excellent. Will definitely stay there again next year!
