Nice hostel with friendly staff. Free tea and coffee all day, toast for breakfast with a good selection of jams and spreads. Computers to use free of charge and a well-equipped communal area with book exchange, games etc. Showers smelled like wee but I guess that's the disgusting guests and the hostel did a thorough clean regularly. Overall a pleasant place to stay.

Enjoyed my time at the Explorers! Great location. No windows in my room so it was so dark all the time! Loved the rooftop! We went up there at night, nobody was there! A little oasis in the city. Perhaps a little introduction to the area would've been nice, but can't complain too much!

Great place only issue was it being fully booked in advance! Book online before you arrive if you turn up it's unlikely you'll get a place.

Breakfast was terrible. Most of the foods were spicy. Also the front tour were terrible. Don't book with them, they just take you in the car keep in silence and drop you in those places. So in the final you don't know anything about the temples and history

nice quiet oasis in the middle of the hectic city. Beds are comfy and clean sheets. There is a lot of space and enough showers etc. Staff were friendly. Room I stayed in nice and dark and quiet, great nights sleep!

This was by far one of the best hostel i've ever been to, it has about everything u need/want to make the best of your stay in KL. Two streets away from Central Market/LRT subway. Rooms, showers and WC are spot on! Very nice personel, both EVIE was it? and the guys in the night/takeovershift. Even got the oppertunity to shower again before leaving KL, 8 hours after we checked out!!!!! So cool and so much appreciated :) Did lose my beautiful Suunto Outlander watch though while rushing abit, so..

It is nice hostel to live in but they rarely clean the room on daily basic. But it is worth the money

Well the hostel is amazing.. ambiance is fantastic and a great place to meet other travelers. None the less, the room I was assigned to had no windows (I dont know if all rooms are like this) and had an AC running 24/7, making the room rather stuffy and sometimes even smelly. Ventilation was very poor. None the less, the hostel was clean and the location fantastic with a good staff. I would appreciate it if the hostel authority improved their ventilation systems.

Very chilled out, clean hostel based in a very good location. It's near several LRT stations, bus and close to Chinatown, Central market, and other sights. I have no hesitation recommending it and I would stay here again if in KL. On an aside folk, get your heads out of your phones and tablets and talk to that person beside you!

Please attach some photo so that people will not confused with twin and double private room and breakfast menu can be changed a bit..other things are so good...staffs are friendly and helpful, location is strategy(near LRT station, near Petaling Street, fast food restaurants)..

Really well located with good transport links. We stayed in a twin room, the aircon was amazing in the heat! Good backpackers, staff were friendly and helpful.

Absolutely lovely stay here! Basic but rooms, communal areas, and bathrooms were always very clean and showers were great. Staff were super friendly and helpful!!! Spoke very good english and loved to answer questions with helpful advice. Very safe needing to be buzzed in and felt very homely. Really close to the train station and markets/food close by. ggae Mansion just down the road was a good place to go out to. Awesome hostel, would definitely stay here again! Thanks to Ivy and Sunny!!!

A great place to stay if you want to live in the middle of town. The staff are very helpful. We loved staying there, but we never used the roof terrasse, because it was too warm and not so good fasilities.

Second time staying at this hostel. Good location, clean rooms at a very good price. Can get a little noisy at night though.

Absolutely lovely place. Very safe. Good access to wifi on the ground floor. Breakfast consisted of toast with different spreads. They sold water over the counter for 1.80 ringgit. The bed rooms were lovely and clean as were the showers and bathrooms. Perfect location between two train stations and right next to Chinatown. Would definitely stay here again if ever in kl again
