The location, very close to chinatown and to central market, was very good. And the staff helped you with everything i needed help with. Good place!

This was definitely one of the hostels I've stayed in in all of my travels. Friendly and helpful staff, toast (with PB!) and tea for breakfast, clean dorms, awesome showers, good common area, good location. No complaints here, wonderful place to stay!

Great place to stay. Super staff, clean rooms, great location. Walking distance to so much good stuff and right next to MTR should you want to go a little further afield. Stayed for 4 nights. Loved it.

I will not choose this hostel again because of other inconsiderable guests staying there. the first morning I was woken at around 6 am because other guests were running around yelling and banging on doors and my second night there I was kept awake most of the night because of some foreign Europeans yelling and screaming. some people have no f*****g respect for the people around them.

Great hostel, good beds, clean as a whistle. Only drawback was that most dorms don't have windows, but it's to be expected in a big city! Great locatin too, less than 5 minutes walk from Pasar Seni station.

More a backpacker hotel than a guesthouse. The location is excellent - in Chinatown, near Pasar Seni station and Pudu Sentral bus terminal. It's also very clean, especially the shared washroom. It's obvious the staff take pride in keeping the place tidy. If you don't mind spending that little bit extra - it's a good idea to do so in KL - Explorer's Guesthouse is a great choice..

Everything was great except the staff was a bit rude, especially during checkin!

I arrived at this hostel very sick with food poisoning. The night receptionist was really rude. Not friendly at all. He remained the same the 4 nights I stayed. However the guy working during the day was nice and the owner was very lovely and even walked me to the clinic- big thank you! This hostel was clean and a good place to meet people even though I was so sick. Good location is China town close to train and bus. I'd recommend.

This hostel has a great location in Chinatown and has a lot of character. The facilities are outstanding and very clean. There is a cosy lounge downstairs and a balcony on top, which makes it easy to hang out with people in the hostel. The staff is very helpful (and they have a 24/7 reception, very handy if u have a late or an early flight..). I would definitely recommend it!

The location is great, although I found the directions difficult to follow. I don't know if this is unique to this hostel however; I found kl was lacking in good pedestrian maps and directions. However, it is only a few minutes walk from the central bus terminal, train station, and subway which connects to the airport. If you need directions though you are on your own. The staff didn't know how to get many places and had no real knowledge of how to get out of kl.
