The Green Man Bestplace Inn is next door to Edgware Rd tube station, connecting travellers directly to Oxford Circus, Piccadilly Circus, the Embankment, King's Cross Station and more, making it convenient for getting around the city as well as going to and from the airport. We like that the pub downstairs is open 24hrs for residents and has karaoke and highly-rated pizza. Our guests say they appreciate the 'very clean' hot showers, comfy beds and sociable staff.

The Green Man Hostel and Pub offers London backpackers the unique opportunity to stay above a traditional English Pub right in the heart of central London. We offer great-value accommodation in safe and clean dormitories, with excellent facilities including free breakfast, free Wi-Fi and free use of our in-room security lockers.
We have eight rooms, including six mixed dorms, one female-only dorm and a private twin room. The mixed dorms have six, nine or 16 beds, giving you the opportunity to meet and greet fun-loving party people from all over the world.
The female-only dorm is perfect for female travellers to meet new friends in a relaxed and secure female-only environment, whilst the private twin room is perfect for those couples looking to share the backpacker's hostel experience with that someone special in their life.
All of our bathroom, toilet and shower facilities are shared and are kept clean and tidy by our dedicated staff to ensure they're fresh 24/7.
Our freebies include free luggage storage, free bed linen, free discount vouchers for London tours and a free London walking tour. You also get entry to the live music and karaoke. For a small fee you can also avail of a hairdryer, straightener, laundry facilities or local car parking. There's 24hr security and 24hr check-in.
The Green Man Pub has been on this site since the 1800s, making it a historic London establishment. Our 24-hour bar features a wide range of English ales, spirits and shooters - perfect to get your night started!
Our pub kitchen serves up traditional favourites for lunch and dinner. Live music and events are on weekly and our three big-screen plasma TVs have Sky Sports and ESPN, which show all major sporting fixtures live, including Australian Rules Football, NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, AFL, NRL, cricket and premier league football.
Our location puts hostel guests within walking distance of Baker Street, Madame Tussaud's, Oxford Street, Marble Arch and Hyde Park. We're also immediately beside the Edgeware Road Underground Station (Bakerloo, District and Circle Lines) and two stops from Paddington Station and the Heathrow Express Train.
Please note that we do not accept guests under the age of 18 years. You must be at least 18 years old to stay at our hostel. Valid photo ID is required at check-in. No ID, no stay - no exceptions.

The beds are made and the bar is always open, which is nice. Being next door to.a tube station is super convenient. However there is no AC, the keycards stopped working often, and it is clearly a bar first. The staff are excellent, however, leading to a pleasurable experience.

Cancellation Policy
This property has a 1 day cancellation policy.Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.
Things to Note
Check-in: 2pm. If you arrive early we can securely store your luggage for free. Check-out: 10.30am. Photo ID required at check-in. We have a 24hr cancellation policy. Late cancellations and no-shows shall be charged the equivalent of the first night's accommodation. For groups there is a 28-day minimum, with a two-night penalty.
This is a non-smoking premises.
During the 2012 Olympics we require payment after booking and have a 28-day cancellation policy, with no refund. In this period we reserve the right to refuse any booking by refunding their deposit.
Please note that we cannot accept bookings for guests under the age of 18 years, as we are a party hostel with 24-hour bar.
