room was small but all that was required. Nice to have free wi-fi and breakfast included. Bathroom was a bit dodgy but ok. service and staff were excellent. Only a short walk to the MRT stations which was very useful.

Awesome staff, with great practical and friendly advice. Very relaxing atmosphere were all culures and ages mix in a fun invironment. Exceptional value due to the above and closeness to great food, shops and transport.

The staff, as many reviewers, including myself, can agree, is very helpful and accommodating. However, The Mitraa itself is rather dull, cramped, and uneventful. It's not a bad place to stay at but given the aesthetics of the hostel as well as the mediocrity of its facilities', the price per night is exorbitant. For SGD 50--what I paid for my friend and I to sleep on bunked beds--you can find something in the same area that's MUCH better.

Easy to get to, friendly staff, a/c, clean, comfortable beds, Free breakfast. Lockers didn't look too sturdy and my key didn't fit.

Good budget hotel. Good bang for your buck. Breakfast is ok, toast, spreads and packet drinks and facilities are a bit dated but clean enough. There isn't a lot of space/room to chill other than in your bunk room and the rooms themselves are tiny but I think that is a Singapore hostel norm. One dissapointing thing was that the only bedding they supplied was a very thin sheet to sleep with which was not enough as my room mate cranked the AC all night. So I had to sleep in my clothes to stay warm.

I've been at the Mitraa many times already since my last visit in 2011. I chose to stay there again for my last week trip in Singapore. The staff are all nice, friendly and helpful. Their help is much appreciated! Many thanks!

Hostel is great! Very friendly staff that will go out of their way to help you. Beds are comfy and clean. It's easy to hop on the MRT and visit all the nice places. I only stayed there for a weekend but wish I could have extended my stay. But definitely coming back!

We enjoyed our stay at Mitraa Hostel, the staff was friendly and the room is clean! If you prefer location that is not too crowded with tourist hostels, Mitraa may be your option. It's located nearby the famous 24 hrs food court at Lavender St, about 5 mins Walks

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location is pretty good, right next to little India and not too far from the major attractions in Singapore. Overall, a very good hostel and I would happily stay there again some day.

I stayed in a two beds mixed dorm which does not have any windows. The room was small and the facilities were not very good. The air-condition was put in a very bad location in which the person sleeping on the upper deck of the bunk bed was having a terrible time every night. I know this may be cruel, but this hostel is so far the worst hostel I have ever stayed. But the staff were very nice and helpful. The location was acceptable, around 10 min walk to the nearest MRT station.

The hostel isn't in the centre of the city but it's near the MRT station so it doesn't take long to get into the city. The staff is really great, they're nice and friendly guys and they really are trying to help you with everything they can. The rest of the hostel is just what you find in almost every normal hostel.
