We thought that the staff and extremely helpful and friendly. Though we were less than impressed with the cleanliness of the toilet/shower facilities (urine all over a toilet that was not cleaned up overnight) the selection of peanut butter and nutella spreads for toast in the am made eveything ok.

This hostel is very good for the price, great location and staff, clean, free breakfast and Wifi in the lobby. As long as you're wanting a budget hostel and not a 5 star hotel then I'd definitely recommend the Mitraa.

At the Mitraa, you will find extremely friendly staff and accommodation for a great price. The location is great and urban, yet just distant enough to calm down after long days (and nights) out about town. A little refurbishment wouldn't hurt the hostel, though and a more homy common room might improve the atmosphere. Still, it's a great place to meet people

Decent location and moderately clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. However we were put in a tiny room right next to the reception. Even though there was a sign saying no noise after 10pm, quite often people would stay up chatting until around 3am also with the loud TV still on, the noise would start again around 6am. If you can't get a good night's sleep everything else is pointless.

The experience at the Mitraa was great (especially due to the staffs' friendliness and due to the low price)! Everything else was really okay as well. The only thing is that a roommate claimed to have seen a strange little animal in the room.. We do not know what exactly it was!

I stayed at the Mitraa because they have a separate women's and men's dorm room. The women's dorm is 6 beds with air-con in the evening. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location, approximately 5-6 blocks from the Ferrar Park Metro station. Close to Little India and the Mustafa Center for cheap eats. Free breakfast was toast and tea. Overrall, not a memorable stay, but priced the same as other hostels. Might consider Chinatown as an alternative.

Very arrogant staff. They don't care about you. Full charge but very bad service. Thieves!

Overall is okay. I slept on upper bed and the air-cond just beside the bed, too close until I felt very cold and now I'm sick.
