Location and everything else were great. The room was warm, but damp. Which is of course somehow understandable because we are talking about the boat. ;)

It was lovely to stay on a boat in Stockholm. The reception / breakfast area was really cool and looked a little like a pirate ship. The beds were comfy but top bunk is a little claustrophobic, very close to the ceiling! If you manage to pull, then being creative is a must if you want to complete the deed.

Very cute. Definitely fun to stay on a boat. Very cramped quarters though and not advised if you might get seasick.

It was my first time staying in a boat hostel and it was good...! Very friendly staff and good breakfast (with additional cost)...However, the rooms were small and the boat may slightly sway (not good for Claustrophobic or those with seasick!)

We were disappointed that we were not actually staying on the red boat as we were led to believe. We were on the next door boat and out of 4 bed lights only one was working . Although we complained we were told that it would be sorted in the morning (when we were leaving).( we were three and paid for four people) so a bit put out.

Great value. Terrific location. Walked to Gamla Stan each day. Reception desk attendant should learn to smile and be more helpful when the internet code doesn't work. Boat was beautiful! Rooms are small but comfortable and efficient. We only wanted to sleep there.

My husband and I spent 2 nights on the boat, that was much too short! The location is fantastic, the character of the boat is very special in a positive sense. And the breakfast buffet was very very good! All in all: It was love at first sight, and we felt a little sad when we had to return to Germany (Rottweil) near Stuttgart. But one thing is sure: If we ever visit Stockholm again, we'll be back on the Red Boat. Thank you very much!! Inge Scheible, 15. September 2011

A bit too cramped... even for asian people! The top bunk has too little headroom so maybe bunk-beds are not such a great idea...

4 persons room. First of all, we weren't inside THE red boat, but a cheaper looking boat next to it. Room was small, dusty, no aircon or couldn't find it, beds were hard and it had 2 small boatlike windows which were fine, if they hadn't the unfortunate problem of facing directly toward the street's side of the boat. Room was already booked to a huge family of huge spiders which i had to exterminate (i counted almost 8 of them). Baths were shared, not much complains there. nice view outside.

Nice hostel with good view and good breakfast. Yet I severely injured my toe when I tried to get off the bed without the tiiny ladder that was just standing at the other bed... Also, there's not much fresh air coming in through the small windows, especially to the people lying right under the ceiling (maybe even getting claustrophobic). So at least you could get a ladder on every bed for the not so tall people.

Great being on a boat in central Stockholm with view from our sea -facing porthole. Last 2 nights of our 4 night stay were fine -considerate neighbours who weren't noisy. On the second night I could only sleep after every other room in the corridoor had finished slamming their doors. The first night (Sunday night) was unpleasant - the very active couple next door were not only loud but physically shook my bunk bed most of the night, crowned by him then emptying his bladder out of the porthole.

I thought it was good overall, but there was only one shower for women, and only one sink that women could use after using the toilet . The men had two showers. It seemed to me that there were just as many women staying as men, and women generally need more time in a shower. I'd suggest switching the bathrooms, plus adding an extra sink somewhere. The single ladies shower room with sink is also available to all of the restaurant patrons - so again, not really very hygienic.
