Was comfortable and staff was nice. Not much atmosphere and pretty long walk from the mrt.

It's a lovely place. Staff has lot of suggestions for me to travel such as light on show in China town. I really love here :)

This a great little place that just happens to be a 15 minute walk to the nearest metro. But note there is a bus stop directly outside and the staff is so incredibly knowledgeable about how to get where and providing suggestions that it doesn't seem far from anywhere. It's not a party place but does have a chill laid back culture.

Definitely coming back next time i go to Sg! Magnificent staff, both the owners (very highly knowledgeable of the region, they've cycled around most south-east asia) and fatimah's charm is second to none! Excellent tips and guidance. Try biking! Very homey, low key, quiet, great to hide from sg's sweltering heat. Quietest room go for the ones on ground floor (no window so no traffic). If window is a must, try first floor. All rooms have fans and good air con. Food hawker next door is humongous!

I spent 3 nights with my husband in Tree In Lodge, the hosts are friendly and helpful, suggest us the better route to wander in Singapore, thanks Fatima, Yong and SK. Green concept lodge, we love it, breakfast is good, and can cook also. We feel home away from our home.

Great stay, the staff was the definition of helpful. Helped us with what to see, when to see, how to save money, even rented us the city transport card. The accomodation is ecofriendly and clean, internet fast and breakfast nice. Shop is around the corner as well as lovely foodcourt! Totally made our stay!

Good location not in the middle of everything but with good transport links and within walking distance of Chinatown. My plans changed and I wound up extending with no difficulty. Received a rundown on Singapore, places to go and foods to eat on my first day. Wonderful staff who were quite helpful and friendly. Bed needs privacy curtain along the foot of the bed. Room can get stuffy. Kitchen and breakfast are good; would be wonderful if the wifi would extend to the kitchen. :) Would stay again.

The staff at Tree In Lodge made out stay in Singapore. I wasn't expecting much of the city, but because the guys took the time to sit down with us and go through a map it made it a great stay. They gave us the names of amazing places to eat and to wander around. The also give you a card for the busses and trains which is super handy. The hostel itself is small and quiet. But when you are exploring the city all day in the heat its just what you want! Thanks again to the guys in Tree In!

Very nice staff, warm, welcoming and helpfull. Tip: change blankets: preferable cotton sheet combined with the fleece you already provide or Real blankets. More stable bunkbeds.

although the hostel is at a busy and convenient stop on the MRT there isn't much around it, and its still a 12 min walk to the MRT. the room had no window and toilets are shared between females and males. The staff was friendly and willing to help. I prob wouldn't stay there if i returned to singapore

Honestly cannot describe just how lovely this place is. The guy that runs it is by far the friendliest we've come across in our 2 months of travelling. It's a 10 min walk from Chinatown and is very secure

- Good wifi access. - Blankets provided were of poor quality, rooms otherwise well tended. - Staff very friendly and helpful, nice fellow guests.

The staff were all excellent, really really helpful and friendly. I found the hostel to be quite sociable too. The only downside was the lack of windows in the room which made it smell quite damp.

Lovely hostel which seems to be genuinely Eco! Free toast and spreads for brekfast, comfy beds and the use of a e-z link (MRT and bus) card which was a life saver. SK was lovely and full of info, and there was a food court close by (to the left) which was good and cheap! Would really recommend!

Best hoste i stay so far in Asia. The staff gets an A because they are so helpfull with everything. Providing the Public transportcard, info about the city. Atmosphere is great, free breakfast included.

Best hostel I stay so far. staff are very friendly, helpful and kind. hostel is clean and well equipped, the only bad side is, that the female dorm does not have window, so it is a bit stuffy at night and the bed frame are creaky.

Fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable staff and owners. Clean and nice hostel. Expect wifi to be slow. The private room is next to the kitchen, so expect so noise from the night-eating people. Few steps away from a local food court. Everything was convenient.

Definitely the best hostel I've stayed in so far! Absolutely amazing staff who take the time to explain to you what you have to see, where to go, how to get there. They seem to know every corner of Singapore which was extremely helpful. The hostel itself is great as well, has everything you need, clean, safe and as green as possible. Free breakfast, free Wifi, also map and EZLink-Card (for buses and trains), bus stops right around the corner. Perfect! Thanks for the great time, Benjamin :)

Lovely hostel with extremely helpful staff. Provided with a metro pass for a small deposit fee which made using the bus and MRT service easy. Excellent recommendations on what to see in town. Wifi and provision of breakfast were very good. Would highly recommend this is as cheap friendly place to stay as a base to explore singapore. Quiet hostel so perfect for couples.
