I celebrated my birthday at this hostel and had a great time with the staff and guests at the bar. The location is unbeatable, being only a short walk from the beach. I was there in the winter, but I'm sure it's even better during the summer. The free walking tour (really free) was a great way to get a feel for the town, and I met lots of cool people there.

Since it used to be a real hotel, bathrooms with tubs and blowdryer. Though pipes etc could use some paint. Vaccuming was a bit wishy-washy, she just vaccumed the front but the back stayed untouched. Mini kitchen with daily specials is fine, the common room is too big to be cozy, and not many people used it during my stay. Breakfast is good, with lots of cereal choices. Fresh seasonal fruit would be nice, even at additional price, lets say $1 for oranges, bananas, etc.

A fantastic place in the heart of Nice. Good sleeping facilities, very reasonable food and drink prices on site and great entertainment facilities. Will definitely consider to stay again when returning to Nice.

Among tons of hostels in Europe and this one is by far the best! Location is great, atomosphere is awesome, chefs cooking great food, bar, common areas. I was travelling alone and for me was amazing, I met lots of people, we've travelled together to the cities nearby, the travel to Eze Village and Monaco for me was special, me and this 5 girls, two Indians, one South Korean, one Australian, and one Thai. Laughed all time. Thanks for the staff James, Daniel ("obrigado"), Sara, and Kate K!

Breakfast was nice( many different cereals) with the option of paying a bit for a hot breakfast. The cafe next door was also very good and had sandwiches for a reasonable price. the rooms were clean as was the bathroom. towel hire was a bit expensive (5 euro deposit and then you get 3 euro back when you return the towel). Safe place to keep your luggage after you check out and they offered a lot of activities and information on how to get to other cities.

The rooms were incredibly clean and warm, the entire staff was helpful and friendly, and the free breakfast was great. There was even a gym! I highly recommend this hostel to anybody, of any age. I was a very happy camper. No complaints at all.

We had a problem with our baggage because we lost the key of our locker and we needed broke the locker. On sunday morning we ask for help at the reception but the receptinist who was there didn't be helpful with us. She didn't help us. But fortunately, the hostel guide ask someone to help us and we managed to broke the locker.

Very good continental breakfast 12 choices of cereals, all day free coffee and chocolate, free internets, decent location easy to find, very detailed self- made map and friendly staffs that actively tried their best to help you at breakfast time:) Offer cheap dinner for guests, although I didnt try i smells so good! but not every bed have their own socket and lamp, still a very good hostel

Great hostel, except for staring at a red stain on the bunk above me. Nice people though, sheets were clean, bathroom was fine. Felt very safe, Lockers in the rooms, locks on very door even have to swipe your card to get in the building. Met some great people and it was semi dead as its off season right now. Went on the free walking tour offered daily by the hostel, james is great and he recommended a lot of great places to see outside of the tour, including restaurants, bars, theaters etc etc.

Super comfortable beds! Good breakfast, free computer use and wifi in common areas. Though one bathroom for 16 person dorm not enough! And staff only interested in eachother, not very approachable most of them, shame, and needs a kitchen then it would be a brilliant hostel!

A pretty good hostel. Wonderful staff, they come up to you and help you plan your day. Perfect location. Bar is good and meals are great. You can easily go out to nearby places if you want. All day tea and coffee is grear. Bathroom in room was amazing, best yet. Room a touch small but not too bad. For the price it was a good place to stay. The place is reasonable size so can be a bit impersonal but you can make your own fun with happy hours and the shared dinner.
