This is a cheapie so don't expect to much but still, this is the most dirty hostel I have ever seen (and I've stayed in chepies in India and Bangladesh before). The staff is very rude too, don't expect any help from them. We booked two nights but decided to move after one ( didn't get my key deposite back because of that but it was still worth it). There are plenty of much better places arround for about the same price.

We found even cheaper accommodation with better rooms with air con, modern bathrooms (with hot showers and even loo roll!) and newer beds. Wheelers is cheap but you can find even cheaper yet better rooms and dorms in the same location, or even in Bukit Bintang.

I've never seen such a dirty place. Ok, it's cheap but disgusting, stinky... DON'T GO there. In the same area, there are plenty of guesthouses so DON'T PICK THIS ONE.

The only benefit to this hostel is its low price. There are much better hostels nearby where the facilities are infinitely better for your money.

We stayed in a double-bed room. The walls could use osme serious decorating (there were fingerprints all over it, which made the room look VERY dirty). The purple sheets had bleeched stains all over them and when I asked for clean ones, I was told that they were clean, "it's just the washing machine"....right. I was given "clean" sheets straight out of the cabinet and they didn't look much different than the other ones but for a few more cigarette burns. IsITreally suchAproblemTObuyNEWsheets?

Wheelers guesthouse was alright...it was a little disappointing since I've stayed in MUCH nicer hostels for less money all over south east Asia but since malaysia's on the pricier side of things I guess it made sense. Some of the staff were helpful but at times gave us false directions to things. I looked around for somewhere else to stay because it felt a little dirty but for the price I couldn't find anything better.

I really was amazed by the staff. They kept track of all of our schedules and helped me tremendously. On the morning that I left, they even suggested the night before that I order a breakfast and coffee to take with me - and then several of the staff members woke up beyond early just to get it ready for me the next morning. I was very impressed. The bed was comfortable and everything about the room itself was great. I was a little concerned with the bathroom, may have smelled some mold??

Room very dirty- walls stained and filthy. Room was dark and smelled. The location is ok and it's cheap, but you have to go up 2 flights of stairs to get to it. On the positive side, my fan room wasn't hot, but the rooms on the next floor up might have been hotter. There are better options.

Rooms are little and without windows. But the lobby is cool and well decorated : some animals are in the entrance (fish, mouses) and they bring a peace atmosphere with some plants and chairs. The staff was nice and there is someone available 24 hours a day.
