The hostel is very well located, cheap and clean but staff is not friendly. However it is the best place in this price.

Good value, one room was a bit smelly as they are quite often on Malaysia... Staff has to work too much but even that is very common in Asia. Friendly staff! No free WIFI

Funny atmosphere and not expensive. Expect a few stains on the sheets and some bugs though. Also no real windows. Breakfast is delicious!

We weren't to pleased with the place overall, Its in a great location, heart of China town and close to everything, it is a cheaper hostel so you expect the basics but we found the place to be quite dirty. The sheets stunk and the room was overall not clean at all. IIf you want cheap and dont mind a little dirt its perfect, but there are much cleaner nicer hostels just around the corner, better bang for your buck with more amenities and comfort.

I've stayed at wheelers pretty much at my every stop in kuala lumpur and i'm planning on doing that. the owner is nice and very helpful, so is the staff in general. maybe its not the cleanest place but for sure its 1 of the cheapest around. at the doorstep of chinatown where u can buy what ever u need for ur travels. if u don't need an air con tv/dvd room with ur own bathroom and all u need is a bed and a place to shower. this is ur place. they have laundry service, wifi and breakfast etc.

Ok, I want to set something straight. Even if it has a terrace, it is only open on Friday afternoon. So, if you think you can relax anytime there, I'm sorry to tell you it won't be possible. The location is good, close to Chinatown and to some trains stations. The chinese lady is really nice, but the owner is not that friendly. Rooms are small and have no air. You have to pay for breakfast, but it has good variety if you want to spend some ringgits. I wouldn'n stay again in this hostel.

You get what you pay for. The room was basic but cleanliness can still be improved especially the bathroom. The room lighting was too dim but ventilation was good. You need to pay for wifi for 5rm. One of the staff was very helpful in giving directions. Greatest strength of hostel was its great location though. Very near to mrt, chinatown and 7-11.

Wheelers is very well situated in the Heart of Chinatown within walking distance of the station. It has great character, and a real quirky feel to it making it a backpaker favourite as one of those you will remember. The security is good, the staff are really friendly, and always want to please. I think some staff have more limited english and can often sound abrupt but i am sure it is not meant to be rude as some guests thought. Its clean and great value for money for what it is. Food good too
