We booked the cheapest double room. On the price list of the hostel, they call it "Attic Room" which describes it better. It is very small and basically consists of a mattress on the ground and a very small table. And it's in the 4th floor while the common bathroom is on the second. It was ok but not really worth the money. You are probably better off with the dorms. The location is really good, with loads of shops and restaurants around. The lake is a little walk though.

Awesome hostel right down the block from the main pedestrian street in Hangzhou. Third time I have stayed there and it is the only place I will stay in Hangzhou.

We checked with hostel staff about the best way to airport, info given seems like inaccurate, we took the bus as been told but end up at a bus station which we had to take a cab to catch the flight.

I think they should start changing their toilet papers for it's a trouble asking and asking for more because of their such small papers. And also, I understand that they don't change the sheets until a guest stays for 3 nights but having a sign board stating Make Up Room, means, they should have at least put an effort in fixing our room e.g. the bed sheets, the toilet, etc.

Place has an awesome location. 20 min walk from station, 15 min walk to west lake. Right in the middle of pedestrian area. Friendly staff to. Rooms are clean and the heater works very good. Window was broken but they fixed it the next day after reporting it. Perhaps when the hostel is busy there might be to few toilets and showers, and the showers also get clogged (as almost everywhere in China). Also, beware of the smog, the west lake is very nice, but with a bad smog day you can forget it :)

I stayed for 5 nights in the dorms and the staff at Wushanyi were very helpful. They had suggestiosn for where to go for tea, massages, medicine, and explained how to rent bicycles and helped me with taxis. The hostel was clean, the rooms were warm, and the location of the hostel was FANTASTIC. You are right in the middle of a major shopping district with restaurants, a 2 minute walk from a beautiful mountain park, a 15 minute walk from west lake, and not at all far from the train station.

The hostel is located in the center of Hanghzou, very close to West Lake, Shopping Centres and all kinds of facilities you might need. The staff was very helpful and explained us how to get anywhere we wanted to. Room was small, but we stayed there for one night only, so it had all that we needed. The only problem was that we had to go two floors down to take a shower.

Best part of this hostel was the location. Situated on a street with most everything you need, it gets really busy on the weekend especially with all of the locals. Not really walking distance to the lake but if you're brave enough, the bus system is pretty comprehensible. The staff also was pretty helpful, not sure about their level of English however since we do speak Mandarin.

Excellent hostel right in the middle of the 'historic' market of Hangzhou. Staff were great, location close to everything and the hostel itself was cool. I stayed in the cheapest thing available for two people and, well, you get what you pay. It was an EXTREMELY small room but sufficed as we only needed to sleep. Would stay again for sure.
