room and toillete were dirty, overseas person might want to avoid it as at 12 pm they send you back to your room, giving you small chance to call back home.

This hostel is definitely one of the betterT ones that I've stayed at in China. The staff was very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. The room was spotless and the lobby cozy. Close enough to the lake to get on foot and far enough away from busy city life. Very enjoyable stay.

A great little place to stay. Rooms are basic, but clean, comfortable & have what you need. Staff are all great, helpful & supportive. It has a terrific book & book sharing library. Common area is small but manageable. It's in the best location and I'd happily stay here again.

I stayed in a suite for three people that passed my expectations of what I was expecting. It helped that I and my roommates had our own bathroom however for the price we paid it was most unexpected.

This is a great hostel at a great price. Located right on the pedestrian street and only a short 10 min walk to the west lake. The rooms are large and beds comfortable for china standards. The rooms are clean. The staff are helpful and friendly. Excellent street food close by the drum tower (in the opposite direction of the pedestrian street) where you can get local food for local prices, make sure you try the dragon twister, a fresh made chicken wrap. Would recommend staying here.

Excellent location near a souvenior street and helpful staff. The hostel doesn't have a cafe, but you can find it nearby. Also, You can buy a train ticket with a handling fee of 15 RMB, which saves much time as you have to join a long queue to but it in China.

My stay was great! This hostel does not provide food, but is very close to a bunch of restaurants and food carts. Friendly staff, awesome location and very clean. I'll be going back for sure!!

I only stayed one night at this hotel but it was very clean and the staff was very nice. I would recommand this hotel. The only "bad" thing is that they don't serve food so if you are craving for some, you have the Mcdonald's two minutes away.

Those guys are pro. The locations is unbeatable, the room is good (a little bit smal) and clean, hot water and good beds. What is really a piss off is that there is no wi-fi in the room, only in the lobby. You arrive tired in the night and you need go downstairs do use the wi-fi. We talked to two guys in the desk, the girl was pretty good, the guy was not that good. Can be better, but is still a excelent choice. As someone say before, the towel is really small.

Excellent location! I could recommend it to everybody. There are a lot of restaurants and shops where you can buy nice souvernirs for your dearest. One point of comment was the size of the towel, which was too small. I prefer to have large towels after taking a shower.

Both my wife and I had a very pleasant stay at this hostel. The room was very clean and the location of the hostel is excellent and convenient as it is close to pedestrian walk street and some historical sites like Gulou, Wu Xue Yan Gu Ju, etc. The staff are also very helpful, polite and patience.

The front desk staff were helpful and friendly, but the cleaning staff at 7 am stomping up and down the corridor, blasting walkie-talkies, and having full conversations with the door open while they cleaned was not appreciated! For a light sleeper like me, you hear everything, from people opening their doors that make a bleeping noise upon entry, to doors opening and slamming shut, to people talking in corridors. I wouldn't stay here again. But it was clean and the lobby area was nice.
