We had a really bad meal that put us off eating there again infact eating at all. Staff were friendly however and the room was really nice. Great location.

A really nice and friendly hostel. The staff were personal and very helpful. It was a bit cold, but the location is in a good place, and the staff helps in organizing the tours and try to help you as much as they can. There is wifi and you can meet interesting people in it. Would recommend to anyone, could probably be one of Chongqing's best hostels.

Great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived late in the night - no problem. The room was a clean. The dining area was nice and relaxed, the food was good. The only thing I would recommend is a new brochure with directions. Whoever I showed the brochure to had problems with it. The taxi drivers eventually figured it out - the bus driver never really did. You location is sort of in the middle of nowhere. Anyway, that's the only remark in an otherwise excellent review.

Great place to stay i Chongqing! Cheap beds in six-bed-dorm! Nice staff. Location was also good, near the Yangzi riverside next to the guild houses, 10 min walk/climb from downtown!

You should isolate thé rooms which are really too cold. The breakfast is too expensive ans to small. You should warn thé tourists about thé bus station of chongqing and help them to get à ticket

Yo, the place kicks ass! Seriously, the girls working there are GREAT, I love them! We went there twice, we had a blast twice. The location is perfect, a few minutes from Jiefangbei district (city center), metro station, supermarkets and pretty much everything you want. It can be a bit chilly during winter, but the warmness of the people there will make up for it. The food is good and the prices are ok. One small issue - the internet sucks, which is problematic when a lot of people are using it.

Staff are helpful, and friendly. The location was excellent, whether to catch a cruise or to walk into downtown. The immediate area is vibrant with street markets appearing serendipitously. A hostel full of interesting people. The common room/lounge/bar lacks seating capacity, but is comfy and full of ambience. We WILL be back.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The place has a great atmosphere and very friendly staff. A nice lounge area where it is easy to meet other visitors and also chat with the staff. Location is also very close to central Chongqing while not being to expensive. The only negatives are that some people find it hard to reach the hostel from the airport. A clear map should be provided to print off so it can be shown to the taxi driver. The internet connection can also be quite weak.

This place has great atmosphere, and the staff are super friendly, English and Putonghua are both fine. The best music I've heard in China yet :) Breakfast was also not bad, but I wouldn't have minded a Chinese set meal in addition to the Western sets! I'll be back for sure!

took the dazu tour the hostel set up for us. be warned- they take you to a sketchy temple before the caves and afterwards you have to sit through a real life infomercials for kitchen knives! we only were at the caves for about an hour and had no free time to walk around on our own. besides that, the staff was great, very friendly, and it was clean. dorm rooms were small.

Extremely helpful staff! Also, we really enjoyed the look and feel of the place and the common area/bar/restaurant. The room itself I would have preferred to be a bit warmer, because I get cold with the chill in the air, but I'm picky like that. The shower hot water takes a while to warm up, but the helpful staff informed us about that, and we simply had to turn the water on a couple of minutes before the shower. This hostel is in a great location for exploring Chongqing!

Good hostel! Cheap, and clean. Staff was very helpful. There are many great tours offered by them at great prices. My only complaint is that they didn\'t know about some things that seemed obvious to us, like various ways to get to the airport or short day boat tours on the Yangtze river. Overall though I was very satisfied and comfortable staying here. Thanks for all your help! :)

I found that the cleaning staff is honest. I had left a leather belt there on Christmas. When I asked about it, it was tracked down and returned to me.

Perfectly nice place, comfortable, affordable, out of the way of the sights but easy to get there. Staff seemed a bit cold/disinterested, but were accommodating in all other respects. Rooms are very nice, good value.

TYRH has become my home away from ,because the university where I teach is in the hinterlands.I have no complaints. Well, maybe they could make a better pizza.

Negative: I was there in December and I felt it was cold everywhere in the hostel. Windows and doors are open constantly. Furthermore it is very dark inside, which made me not feel at home at all. Positive: Staff was nice and kept asking how I was doing and said that they could turn on the heating in the bedroom (not necessary though, under the blanket it's fine). Also they are very helpful, especially when I noticed I left something behind and they put a lot of effort in getting it back.
