They have rooms on multiple floors and no common room, which makes it impossible to meet other people. The rooms were nice at least

We booked a private, ensuite double. Extremely small, cramped room (even for HK). Two people can barely move around. No common space for lounging. Security code lock removed from access door and never replaced during our 5 day stay. No ventilation in room as it is packed into the middle of a high rise building. Also, the local residents of apartments in the building have small shrines near their doors in the hallways and burn incense in the hallway ! Quite unsafe, unhealthy and bizarre.

Yesinn is a decent hostel run by a pleasant staff. It is close to the metro and fast food (Starbucks, McDonald's, and Burger King). It is not a bad neighborhood, but not close to some of the more popular sights. However, the metro is right there, so it's easy to get around.

the room is not clean, bed sheets are dirty and had had stains. i even asked the receptionist to change the sheet but what they did was only fold the blanket, without even bother dusting it.

We had a triple roon with private toilet and shower. Very very tiny room and toilet with no space to acomodate bags snd clothes. As we stayed for a week that was a bit messy. Dark room. But happy with the place as it was very cheap.

Slightly hard to find. Turn right out of fortress hill station and it's on the right hand side, straight after the 7/11 in a block of flats. Well run hostel - got everything you need - a bed, bathroom, water, etc... Would recommend.

There is basically no maintenance in the room at all. I paid for 5 nights stay but yet there were 2 days whereby no housekeeping to clean up the room till I need to call the reception to make a request. 2nd, housekeeping doesn't change the bed sheet or pillow case. So I am sleeping on the same bed sheet for 5 nights. Wondering if I stay for a month then basically, 1 month on the same bed sheet? Room is so noisy till need to make a complain to the reception for them to lower the voice.

Nice & clean (we booked a double room and a female dorm) in the dorm there was a good shower with plenty of space, the locker had no key tho, maybe I should've asked for it, don't know. A small common area, good wifi connection, helpful staff and free coffee in the reception.

The mixed dorm rooms have one bathroom with a frosted glass door, so it's a little awkward showering. Common areas are not sufficient, so the hostel experience of meeting & chatting with other travellers is limited to your room. Otherwise, location is good & very clean and safe.

It would be nice if they made sure things were clean and some rooms looked like it has been some time ago that they repainted or refurbished... Depends which room you get to be able to enjoy the hostel. However, it is an excellent location for a holiday...

Although my tiny single room was good value for Hong Kong, I was totally disgusted that room had not been cleaned from previous guests.... How many? Hair on floor and clumps in shower and dirty marks on table and fridge filthy. Need I say more. I told at front desk but she doesn't know what cleaners do or not. The person who took me to the room which was in another bldg across the street was totally disinterested in doing so. She may have been. 'Cleaner'. Not much choice in busy HK

Nice and clean, friendly staff and easy to get in and out. Unfortunately the toilet backed up and wasn't able to be fixed in the short term. I would stay there again though.

I went there from the airport, it is quite accessible and I can easily find the hostel. After check-in, we are told that the room is on the next block, so we went to another block to our room. The room is cheap and very small, but the wifi is fast.
