Wifi is only in reception part of the main building. If you are in the other part of the hostel down the rd there is no wifi. Not in central area. But 5 mins from metro. Says 18s but we had a school group when we stayed!!

Perfect position close to the central station and great hospitality. The breakfast is included but it is bnb style. Every eavinig they leave in your room the breakfast and two fresh sandwiches for the next day.

The place was pretty average, the staff didnt really seem to like what they did. Never up for a chat or not very helpful on the tourism front (kind of important if your working in a hostel). The lobby smelt like an overflowed toilet and there must not be an age limit to stay there (even though there is a bar) as there were 12-15 year old running around everywhere. Pretty annoying when your trying to skype home or just relax and read a book at the bar. The court yard was nice and the beds were ok

I don't get why the locations rating for this hostel isn't higher. The main tourist attractions -museums, cathedrals, chocolatiers, the Grand Place- are a quick 20 minute walk away, plus there's the metro for people who loath walking. And the 20 minute walk means that when you're trying to sleep, it's quiet. I've also stayed at the centrally-located, 5-star Metrople hotel in Brussels, & wouldn't again because the street it's on is so busy, the sounds of sirens & people kept me awake all night.

You should give some kind of ticket or number to mark the luggage which people leave in the luggage storage, so anyone could take out from the hostel with a different luggage. It wil improve the security.

We stayed in a 3 people room, for 2 nights. Room was cool and clean. The hostel was very close to the city center.

This hostel is too big. It has got two flats one opposite of the other of the street. The kitchen and the other main services are located in the main flat, so if you are in the second one, you will be a little bit isolated. Because of its size, the hostel is full of little rules, that must be respected in every places. The breakfast was included, but it was very poor: when you entered in the canteen there were a lot of rules' signs. I didn't enjoy my permanence in this place, IPreferSmallerOne.

Hostel was very clean, had a very large lounge, and a great bar. Their outdoor area was also open and inviting. Breakfast suffered and there seemed to be a lot of younger school trips staying at the hostel.

The downstairs is beautiful and very welcoming. So I don't understand why the rest of the building looks like a run-down parking garage. There was a hole in my floor I walked around (despite the linoleum, I felt like it was going to drop out from under me) and the door was broken around the lock, like it had been kicked in. Two showers, one bathroom for the whole floor. When I made my bed, I took a blanket from the closet and shook it- it exploded with dust, hair, etc. Just GROSS. Bad area.

It was a good hostel with everything you need but some of the staff were not that friendly (Asian manager was rude and yelled at staff etc in front of me) but the rest of the staff were cool

Price was reasonable compared to other hostels in Brussels, especially since it included a decently sized breakfast. Secure rooms. Beds were comfortable. Showers and bathrooms relatively clean. A good 15-20 minute walk from Grand Place, but easy to find with a map. Staff very friendly and helpful.
