Definitely better than the reviews. Between the center and a down to earth neighbourhood. Great pool table and bar, a stunning free map from use it fro bruxelles. Breakfast is ok, but could use some greens. Seems like a very secure place, but they could have used another color than grey for the inside.. Only downer: Too much engery saving in the bathroom. Lights in the toilet and the shower go off every few seconds, that sucks.

Well first of all, there is no soap in the bathrooms. That was the main problem for me. Breakfast is ok, it was written like you can eat limited, like 5 slices of bread blalba, but actually they didn t seem to care. Staff is really friendly and they speak english very well. the hostel is a little far from the city centre. you need to walk like 20 min.

The place stinks a lot and the shower button had to be continuously pushed giving just enough water. The room looked dirty (+ plastic mattresses and old blanket from war time). Breakfast:bowl of cereals, 5 slices of white bread, salami, coffee and chocolate. There are plenty of broken security lockers (does not sound good) and the card/key did not work properly. If you arrive from Train Station North be aware it can be pretty dodgy. Location is not too bad (20 min walking).

No elevator. People with backpacks are tired! Site advertised free internet (as well as free wi fi) so imagine my surprise when I had to pay to use a computer terminal. Breakfast period is too short Check out could be a little later - or at least have the flexibility to pay for a late check out Reception smells funky, not the best first impression

Great hostel with a nice bar with a great selection of jazz and oldies playing till midnight. A pool table and little inside yard. They also provide with lockers. The staff was lovely, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was included. Only bad thing is that the water smelled really weird and some of the areas next to the facilities also smelled.

quite an expensive hostel which doesn't have in-room wifi, no lockers in rooms and need to change own sheets.

Hi, Me and my friend were not friendly treated by the woman in the reception. She started to argue with us and didn't say hello, smiled or even looked us in the eyes while talking to us. It didn't seemed like she wanted us to be there. We liked the idea of a bar, but unfortunately the whole lobby smelled so we never went. It said on the website that there was free wifi, but this was only in the lobby and not in the rooms where the guests actually spend most of their time. Regards, Hanna

Breakfast: cornflakes, toast/toppings, hot chocolate/coffee/tea/juice. 20 min scenic walk to center (passing main park, statues, etc.) 2 min walk from metro. Comfortable beds although plastic. Sink in room. Terrible showers (just an awkward trickle and either REALLY hot of cold). 2 things of security to get into room (would have been 3, but one was broken). Labeled as CHAB (otherwise hard to find!) 2 buildings. Wish there were personal reading lights to make it easier when others are sleeping.

all and all your average decent hostel. though very big. don’t choose it if youre looking for small and cozy. not central but walk to center is not bad. The breakfast is perhaps the lowpoint. Disgusting watered down juice and commie bread rationing. the chocolate milk is great though.

Our room smelled funny when we got there, but we opened a window to circulate the air, and that helped. For some reason the lobby/WiFi area stunk - almost all weekend. The breakfast was generous. Staff were pleasant. We were disappointed by the lockers: we were told we could secure our belongings, but in truth, a large amount - maybe half - of the lockers were hanging off the hinges. NOT securely. The rest were already claimed. I think it is an average hostel, but could use some renovating.

the worst hostel I've ever been staying. But the bed wasn't good, because it was very noisy when you move and uncomfortable. but the worst thing was shower booth. the drain was very poor and it stuck during the shower so you could in the water until your ankles. also reception guy said that breakfast time was at from 7.30 to 9.30, but when I got 9.05, there was already closed I mean food had gone. only people who having their food. also you can't into the breakfast room after that time.
