Youthhostel is close to Interlaken Ost. So if you go to the Jungfraujoch, it will be the best choice. Also, hostel staffs are very kind. It is very clean. If the opportunity, I would like to stay again. Thank you!

Everything was great but this no membership 6 franc extra per day is just BS. You should have just listed the added price instead.

It's run more like a hotel than a hostel, and there additional fees for everything: towels, cutlery/dishes and for it being a HI property.... Also, NO KITCHEN! If I were to go back to Interlaken, I'd stay at Backpackers Villa which is more centrally located and has equally great facilities (including a kitchen!) and a much more relaxed atmosphere!

I've stayed in four hostels in my trip and this was the best one BY FAR! It looks like a five-star hotel. Amazing localization, just beside the station. The staff is incredibly helpful and very nice people. I'll totally stay there next time.

Points for location. It is right next to Interlaken Ost - a minute walk to the platform where trains leave for Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen or Bern. No more than 5 minutes walk to restaurants, bars and grocery stores. Clean. Safe. Decent wifi. They give you a bus pass granting you free access to all local buses. Prices are a little steep but for what you are getting out of it...not bad! The staff offer great advise and are very helpful. I will stay here again. November 2014. Traveled Solo.

Customers without a membership card would have to pay an extra 6 franc per person per night upon arrival, which is an unreasonable condition! So expensive!

Read the fine print before you book! We got stung with an extra $6 CHF per night for not being a member of some youth hostel thing! The hostel itself was really nice and clean, more of a hotel really. Internet only worked in the lobby so everyone would hang there including lots of families and their screaming children. No kitchen but they do offer a kettle (yew)! Breakfast was included and was nice. Resteraunt was yummy but expensive for backpackers!
