A nice hostel in a good location. The beds are comfortable. The showers are nice and hot (when they work). Bob is very helpful for information and advice on getting onward train tickets. Good location, right in the centre of the walled city. Unfortunately, a power cut on the last day meant there was no food or drink, hot water or wifi! However, this isn't the hostels' fault.

A very nice hostel in the center of Pingyao,especially for this price! The owner helped us with our train tickets and showed us how to make Chinese dumplings :D We had great time there!!

Big, comfortable bed. Clean room. Large, comfortable common areas. Bathroom fine but smelled as is often the case. Good quality Chinese breakfast. Staff don't speak much English but the manager does and is very helpful with booking buses etc.
