Free Cerveza is a social glamping hostel set right on the shores of Lake Atitlán. Wake up to uninterrupted views of 3 stunning volcanoes, swim straight off our private dock, and spend your days surrounded by good food, adventure, and great company.
All hostel guests can enjoy:
• Direct lakefront access with docks and lounging areas
• Unlimited use of paddleboards and inner tubes to enjoy on the lake
• Free morning activities such as yoga, sunrise SUP, and group hikes
• Nightly social activities like beer pong, karaoke, trivia night, and more

Eat & Drink:
Start your day with breakfast, lunch, or fresh snacks from our on-site restaurant, all prepared by talented local chefs. When the sun sets, everyone comes together for a three-course family dinner and a full hour of free beer. Between meals, the bar keeps things flowing with cocktails, beers, smoothies, and two happy hours every day.
Our Rooms:
Choose between shared or private glamping tents, cozy casitas, or our famous lakehouse perched above the water. All accommodations include real beds, electricity, and warm blankets for a comfortable stay.
The Property:
Our lakefront property features lush gardens, an open-air common area, and plenty of space to relax, tan, or soak up the views. Guests have access to two shared toilet blocks and a shower area with hot, high-pressure water.
Built with care and sustainability in mind, Free Cerveza was constructed using recycled wood, glass bottles, LED lighting, and compost toilets to help protect the beauty of Lake Atitlán.
The Location:
Free Cerveza is located in Santa Cruz la Laguna on the northern shore of Lake Atitlán, only a 10-minute boat ride from the main dock at Panajachel. You can even ask for the driver to drop you off directly on our private dock!
