About

Scout Madrid Hostel is located in a recently renovated building with a modern and functional design, surrounded by greenery and close to shops, public transport and other essential services. We follow Scout values and incorporate environmental, social and cultural criteria into our everyday life. A large solar panel array provides around 20% of our total energy consumption, while additional solar panels are used for hot water.

The hostel is located around 20 minutes from Madrid city centre by public transport, with Vinateros Metro Station less than a 5-minute walk away. Our spacious, bright and comfortable common areas are designed to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

All our bedrooms are exterior-facing, bright and quiet. They feature bunk beds with individual power sockets and reading lights, individual lockers, electronic NFC room access, shared bathrooms with easy access from the rooms, and individual air conditioning for heating and cooling. Our rooms accommodate 6, 8 or 12 guests, and we also have a bedroom and bathroom adapted for guests with disabilities.

A basic buffet breakfast is offered in the dining room.

We also offer female-only rooms and family rooms, making it easy to find the accommodation that best suits your needs.

Scout Madrid Hostel is a sustainable, smoke-free and alcohol-free establishment.

Do not get fooled by the pictures. The place is not as inviting as it seems. Location is not the best, can definitely get more city center hostels for around the same price, especially if you will be out late. Severe lack of hygiene, the bathroom upstairs was not flushing, i was met with a bed with no pillow and when asking for one the employee simply shoved something in a sheet and gave it to me. The room itself is very stinky, and in the morning i found a dead cockroach on the floor.

Beds are very unstable, every move that person on upper bad makes, makes sound and movements which interrupt person on lower bed and opposite. Leaders are very hard to open and close, which makes a lot of noise. Breakfast was a joke. It is called buffe, but there was only toast bread , chocolate cream, jam and cheese and some cake. Imposible to have good breakfast.
