Not many places nearby for food or convenience stores and the few places open close early (10 pm or earlier). Many things happening on the island were on the North side, so if you want somewhere that is close to everything this is not the place. Facilities were nice, but there were lots of stray cats so it did smell a bit around the area. Might have just been the people we had during our stay, but other travelers were not very social and had multiple instances of our food being stolen.

Don’t be fooled, this is not a hostel. This is a resort that has been put on Hostelworld. I’ve booked through Hostelworld in 35 different countries, have stayed in over 200 properties, and this is the worst “hostel” I have ever stayed at. The staff are horrible people. They asked for a tip for every transaction made, and the times they didn’t ask they STOLE a tip by returning less change than you are owed. I called this out and I got death stares from everyone for the rest of the day.
