Awesome place if you like nature and a quiet area. It's all perfectly arranged with a pool steps from the beach and a dock with chairs to relax. Short walk to town where you can get local food at decent prices and escape the higher priced menu from the hostel. Good drinks and friendly staff.

Initially we really liked the hostel & what it had to offer. But we had some bad experiences there. We were changed rooms (downgraded) for no apparent reason in the middle of our stay. Our food was stolen from the kitchen even tho it was labeled. My flip flops were stolen at the beach club (really annoying). But what was most frustrating was the reaction of the staff (beach club/reception), which seemed not to care at all. My Spanish is not perfect and I felt like they were just ignoring me.

Not many places nearby for food or convenience stores and the few places open close early (10 pm or earlier). Many things happening on the island were on the North side, so if you want somewhere that is close to everything this is not the place. Facilities were nice, but there were lots of stray cats so it did smell a bit around the area. Might have just been the people we had during our stay, but other travelers were not very social and had multiple instances of our food being stolen.
