Seamless stay overall. Comfortable private twin room - we were even given an extra pillow on request! The hostel is clean & well-maintained, with friendly staff on hand to help out if required. Nearby area is quiet enough given it’s in the centre of Funchal, you won’t have the noise of parties etc around you.

Due to saftey hazards I did not feel comfortable staying in this hostel and will unfortunatley not be coming back. Communication before arrival was non-existent and I stood in front of a locked door. If you ask about the process beforehand, this won‘t happen to you - but you have to take initiative. If you have no signal/cell plan for abroad, you‘re out of luck.
