Roamer St Kilda

Well located for St Kilda area, staff were lovely. However, bathrooms and common areas were unfortunately not very cleanly- particularly the showers. Stayed in a 8 person room and the storage locker was inside the bed cubby, making it quite cramped to sleep in and difficult to manoeuvre baggage.

Loved it here, really nice vibe. Chilled and social, really nice common areas and rooftop area. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff are super friendly and will help with anything. Location is also 10/10!! Close to beach, 2 mins to woolies, bars, food, tram and bus.

Really not good. A lot of the facilities didn’t work. Tiny kitchen which is under equipped. Needle exchange across the road with a lot of addicts. Noisy area. A/C in the room was broken, no fan. Shower door locks didn’t work. No laundry. Would not recommend, especially with much better hostels in the CBD for similar pricing. Also, no weekly rate offered, which a lot of other hostels do. Property recently taken over from Selina. They should close for three weeks to renovate and get it done.
