We are housed in a monumental Amsterdam building with authentic charms and steep stairs. We have no elevator, and rooms with bunk beds, making our hostel best suited for younger, mobile travelers who are comfortable with stairs and climbing.

Situated in Amsterdam Oud-Zuid, we are in one of the city’s most popular and well-connected districts. Our street is quiet and residential, offering a calm place to recharge, while just a few minutes’ walk brings you to the lively energy of Museum Square, De Pijp, and many of Amsterdam’s cultural highlights. With excellent public transport connections, nightlife, cafés, museums, parks, and local neighborhoods all nearby, you can experience a lot of the city in a short amount of time.

Atmosphere & Guest Expectations
We aim to create a relaxed and respectful environment. Hostel Cosmos is ideal for travelers who want a social but not party-heavy place to stay. To maintain this atmosphere:
• Group bookings of 6 people or more are requested to contact us in advance
• We do not allow stag/hen parties, sports fan groups, or party tours
• Guests must be 18 years or older
• Pets are not allowed

Booking & Payment Policies
• Accommodation fees are charged in full once the reservation is completed
• If a payment attempt fails, the reservation will be canceled and needs to be rebooked

Flexible Rate
• Free cancellation and modification until 1 day before arrival
• Within 1 day of arrival, the reservation becomes 100% non-refundable

Non-Refundable Rate
• No refunds or modifications after booking
We kindly ask guests to read all information carefully before booking. In case of a booking that does not match our policies or guest profile, check-in may be refused without refund.
