Guest House Hiroshima Mange Tak

Very close to all of the main attractions and only 5 to 10 minutes walk to the Hiroshima memorial Park. Beds and pillows are not very comfortable though. The first day and a bit, i had trouble getting into my room, but was fine afterwards. Laundry facilities are great and plentiful, though it took me 3 times to get my clothes dry. Showers are on only one level, but I never had to wait to use one which was a good thing. I loved the lemon beer at the bar and Mac was really good to talk to.

The location of this place is perfect for exploring all the sights of Hiroshima on foot. It's only about 5 minutes from a street car station as well. Staff is great and allow luggage storage before and after check in/out. Facilities are mostly clean but the bed and pillow are extremely hard and uncomfortable, even by hostel standards. Room was a bit hot at night as well.

good hostel! easy to meet people in social space downstairs. staff was nice to talk to and really helpful finding me a quiet spot when I had to take a work call. there is a little origami table and the resulting paper cranes get donated to the children's peace monument.
