There is no hot water. You have to have it dribble out if you want it to be lukewarm. The weather of Arequipa is not compatible with cold showers. The location is central to the historic area and nice restaurants, but the employees also live (?) and party at the hostel, so it will be pretty loud at night. Employees are nice and responsive, but the hostel seems more like a place for them to hang out than an actual business geared to backpackers.

Friendly staff, cold showers. One of those places where the staff live there and you feel like you are in their space.

We had an excellent first night here, check in very smooth room was clean and comfy, roof terrace is beautiful Unfortunately on the second night we were suddenly woken at 1:30AM to loud music and drunken partying. This went on till well past 4. We contacted the staff by phone about this at the time but there was no response. We later learnt from staff that this was actually other members of staff being loud and partying in the night. Not impressed.
